Kitty's story is inspiring and you can read a short synopsis here:

I've been in about three times and had a lovely meal each time, although portions are fairly small and salads are sparse. However this is a new business by someone following their dream and that has to be taken into account.
I hope more people experience Green Time; it's an oasis of calm, with tasty food.
Pros: Great lunch for city workers, Awesome philosophy, Friendly service

Cute place - Edit
The Thai green curry is the bomb, super tasty, nicely spiced - I had it a lot.
Read moreThe Quesadillas were underwhelming, not enough filling and not enough of it - it was mainly just like eating a hollow wrap...
Loved the bbq sliders, but the curry still wins!
Tacos were tiny and we left hungry, good stuff in there though, will totally order it again if the portions were bigger.
Had the Green smoothie, basic but healthy, just what your skin wants!
Nice establishment, roomy, hippie and great for studying or reading. It's been almost empty every time we've been in.

We had the nachos, green curry and tofu burgers. Every dish was delicious but the burger was the best! Nice atmosphere and love the origin story on the wall.

What time is it? GREEN TIME! - Edit
Fantastic option for a filling meal in the heart of the city. Service was excellent, I loved the backstory of the restaurant and would come here again. I would recommend the fried "chicken".

A bit of a let down - Edit
Great to have more vegan options but I found the meal that I had to be very disappointing, especially because of the high price tag. I had the Thai green curry and while it wasn't 'bad' it was just bland and there wasn't really anything good to say about it. My friends didn't like their meals either. Might have just got the wrong things from the menu but I don't think I'll be eating from here again.

Great share plates - Edit
This was a great place to order a few dishes and share them with friends. The nachos were amazing and definitely the highlight, the pork sliders and quesadillas were also pretty solid. Service was fast and friendly. The price was fair for a solid meal.

Great food! - Edit
We had BBQ tofu sliders and the Mexican sampler. Both were excellent despite the Mexican sampler not having any 'cheese'.
Read moreWe were expecting a bigger menu, and being able to mix and match the sliders would have been nice. We liked the vegan murals on the walls.

I went here at an off time when they don't have the menu items available (3-5pm), but I was still able to get a tasty lasagna and matcha dessert. Lots of comfortable seating and the staff was friendly. Would definitely come here again.

good but sparse - Edit
Very happy to find a vegan restaurant in Auckland. It is well located in the center - easy to find.
Read moreWe stopped in for dinner. Food was very good, well spiced, good flavors. Service prompt and friendly. But the menu is quite sparse.
The space is very internal, too much poor quality lighting and big. It may get a good lunch time crowd but when we were there it was almost empty so the size of the space and the lighting made for a poor atmosphere.
Saved by the food however. I hope this place continues to evolve and ends up in a space that matches the food
Pros: food, service, location
Cons: space, lighting

Went here for lunch. It wasn't su[per busy, but plenty of people enjoying a lunch here. Food was pretty tasty, well made. Good drinks too. Prices were not cheap, but nothing too crazy. Service was really friendly. Would go here again if I wanted some nice healthy vegan food.

Inspiring, Delightful Vegan Haven - Edit
Great food. I'm a fan of their desserts. Have tried the mains that others have raved about, but I found them average, sorry. I'd still go here until I try every single item on their menu :)
Read moreNice decor, lovely murals. Inspiring journey. High on sustainability. The owner and her staff all walk their talk - hats off to them.
I've been here a few times now, trying something new each time. Definitely check it out!! Bring your friends and co-workers for lunch; good meeting place as it's usually quiet. However, the quietness of the place can also be a negative aspect as it creates a lack of atmosphere. During my latest trip there, my colleague wondered why we were the only two customers there although it was during typical lunch hour. That was a bit awkward heh.
Pros: Environmentally-conscious., Great selection. Delicious desserts. , Awesome decor.
Cons: A bit pricey., Sometimes, long waiting time for food , Usually very quiet even during lunch times.

We were so worried about finding vegan places on our holiday, but again Happy Cow and the reviewers did a great job in helping us! Green time is right down the street from our hotel and lots of dishes and desserts to choose from. Green curry for me and Mexi platter for the hubs. Both amazing!

Overrated and overpriced - Edit
I don’t understand all the glowing reviews on here and am happy to see that at least a few other people agree with what I’m about to write...
Read moreYes, I’m happy that this is a vegan place in a great location and that the staff are nice people, so that’s all worth something. However, the portions were tiny for the prices they’re charging. We ordered three dishes and left hungry. The food tasted OK, but definitely nothing spectacular. We’ve eaten much more inspired and tasty vegan food at non-vegan restaurants all over New Zealand. Totally overrated, in my opinion. Wouldn’t go again.

good conceptual cafe - Edit
I visited here for dinner and ordered a spicy Indonesian fried noodle. It was good! They set some vegan magazines in NZ. It is useful that such a peaceful vegan cafe is placed in the center of the busy city.

great food and concept - Edit
Great food and concept for a cafe. The quesadillas and mini tacos were my favorite with the tacos just winning out. The rainbow cake was ok, the blueberry cheese cake was grainy and should be skipped. Quick service, friendly staff. Recommend.

Lovely staff. We only got the kombucha ice cream float so can't say much about the food. The ice cream melted too fast but it was a fun idea.
Read moreGreat kids play space! But there are no windows in the restaurant so while it is well-lot and cheery it is a bit cavern-like.
