Outstanding ingredients, charming place, unfortunate results - Edit
It's hard to understand how a restaurant that clearly cares about offering healthy food can do such a terrible job of preparing it and presenting it in an appetizing way. Everything in our order was too greasy, lacked flavor, and looked unappealing too. Good concept, poor execution.

Great little local gluten free haven - Edit
I have gone here for years. The staff is super and the food is clean and somewhat adventurous.
Read moreThe salads and kale wrap, black bean burger are great. So are their matche and desserts.
Love their date balls and fruit GF muffins.
It should be supported by the community, as it has stood the taste of time and still remains delicious!!

I wish they offered more dressings and sauce variations!!

Great salad and drinks - Edit
Only about 1/3 of the items at this vegetarian restaurant are vegan. My favorite is the kale salad. It’s not too expensive and you can add tofu for $2.
Read moreThe smoothies, juices, and flavored matcha drinks are very good.
But the stir fry is too expensive for the small amount of food you get.
Desserts are delicious here too and most are vegan.
Pros: Salad, Juices, Smoothies
Cons: Expensive

I wanted to like this place - Edit
I really wanted to like this place since I like to support vegetarian restaurants. However, it really embodied/reinforced the negative stereotypes that people have about vegetarianism, with high prices, tiny portions, and a seeming focus on dieting. On top of that, there weren't that many options to choose from as a vegan. The food was okay, but the portions were small and we left feeling hungry. The exception was the apple pie, which was large but not tasty. For me, being vegan is not about restricting. I like to eat healthy food, but I like to have enough of it to feel satisfied. I also dislike when businesses make veganism/vegetarianism seem exclusive by charging such high prices for so little food.

Cons: overpriced, not substantial; left feeling hungry, not as many vegan options as you'd expect

What a cute place! - Edit
Such a lovely find in Santa Barbara! Stopped for lunch - had a quinoa and black bean burger with chipotle aoli and mustard (lettuce instead of a bun) - it was incredibly tasty, filling, and not too heavy at all! The salted caramel matcha latte was AMAZING! No bitterness, creamy and lightly sweet from the dates ! Friendly staff and a lovely place to sit 😁

Vegan sweets, matcha heaven - Edit
The service is impeccable and the decor is welcoming; plants everywhere and great energy. I tried “The Salted Caramel” matcha latte and a variety of vegan “baked” goods. I recommend the the “Dirty Brownie” and any of the matcha lattes. *VEGAN, RAW, & GLUTEN FREE options*

An Oasis in Santa Barbara - Edit
This is simply one of the best places in Santa Barbara. I am so grateful to have discovered it. Before commenting on the excellent food, even better are the amazing women who work here. Having traveled the world, I've never seen a group of people more joyful and more delighted to be at work - in ANY profession. Whatever's going on in your life, you can be sure that their warm radiant welcome will lift your spirits. Whether you are a daily regular, as I have become, or a newcomer, as I once was, their enthusiasm that you have entered their spectacular oasis to share in it and their food, is unparalleled. They all take immense pride and joy in what they do.
Read moreI've often read that food prepared with love infuses that love into what you are eating. I never believed that until eating here. The food is fantastic. There are my favorites, from their Mamma Maca smoothie to the delicious Pesto Panini. Their fresh juices are unparalleled, clean in their taste and flavor combinations. And then there's the daily flavor of banana bread. The other day I was there when the chef brought out a whole raw apple pie specially ordered for someone's Thanksgiving. She was glowing with pride for her creation, and the care the other women took in boxing it up was a sight to see. It wasn't just a pie, but rather something made special for someone's holiday.I am vegan so I especially appreciate their vegan offerings.
Their menu is organic, gluten-free, and locally sourced. You can really feel and taste the difference between food created at a chain by exhausted workers with cheaply-sourced, chemically-laden products, and food created by people with an exuberance for what they are doing and care in picking the perfect fresh ingredients for it. This should be a model for the world over.
Pros: The wonderful women who joyfully work here., The food is locally sourced and organic, The friendly and relaxed vibe

Cute but Mild - Edit
Tucked away on a quiet street in downtown. They do have a small outdoor patio. The interior is cute and charming. I enjoyed my collard greens wrap which had the perfect amount of mustard to spice things up. The pesto sandwich was alright, maybe could’ve been elevated with some sprouts. My sister got the green table burger which was amusing. I do agree with other reviewers that it was like a salad in a thin bun but there is a pattie of some sort in there. Overall I think it’s a cute spot for a quick healthy lunch and I may be back if I’m in the area.

Clean delicious food - Edit
Everything here is gluten free! The kale salad is to die for, plus it’s huge! My favorite salad in the county. The raw vegan wrap is really delicious too, and very filling. They also have yummy vegan Mac & cheese, smoothies, and just overall a lot of great, healthy options. I’ve never been disappointed with what I’ve ordered here.

We had breakfast here: a huge, very tasty açai bowl and a smoothie. Very friendly and accommodating, pointing out the few items that were not 100% vegan. Looking forward to the raw fudge we took to go.

Green Table is good but tough for a vegan! - Edit
Used to go here for healthy desserts! They described themselves as vegan and then found out later most of their desserts have honey in it! Am guessing they use other non-vegan ingredients like dairy but I just can’t trust them anymore... loved getting this local kombucha they had on tap with a ginger lime flavor and another watermelon one... was the most delicious tasting kombucha ever and they had it on tap! Now I’m taking my growler to Good Cup on state street which happens to have the best almond milk mocha in town!

Bad tabouleh salad - Edit
This place has a lot of vegan options. But the tabouleh salad was bad - I felt awful after I ate it. There was some kind of really heavy dressing/sauce on it that made it heavy and solid in texture. Hopefully their other dishes are better but I won’t be back, it actually made me feel sick to my stomach. I told the cashier about this and she was rude and defensive.

I want to love this place. They have grain free muffins and other baked things, but half the time they are really uncooked inside. Most if their menu has goat cheese on it. It's cute and the employees are nice.

Just OK - Edit
Came here for a quick lunch while in town. My partner and I shared the raw coconut wrap, vegan veggie parm, and a slice of raw apple pie. The wrap was pretty good but very tiny for the price tag. The veggie parm was middling and, again, expensive for what we got. The apple pie was quite tasty and came in a generous portion, which is really the only thing that I'd recommend.
