Got their tacos during the cricket world cup in Nassau county. The tacos were really delicious. Liked the plantain taco the best.

The best place to find our schedule is on our website or on our social media platforms. Also, what number did you call? If you left a message i most certainly would have called back. I STUMBLED UPON GREEN STREET FOOD TRUCK RIGHT BEFORE THE PANDEMIC & HAVE BEEN A REPEATING CUSTOMER EVER SINCE. THEY HAVE SINCE OPENED AN EATERY WHICH IS EQUALLY AS IMPRESSIVE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALWAYS TOP NOTCH. THEY HAVE A GREAT RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS & KNOW MOST OF THEM BY NAME. THE SAVORY FOOD IS TO DIE FOR & THEY ALWAYS HAVE GREAT SPECIALS ON THE WEEKENDS. THE GRILLED MAC & CHEESE IS AMAZING. Really cool to have a vegan food truck but both times I tried it I was not too impressed. Got the Mac n cheese the first time I went over a year ago and found it flavorless. Went back this year for the vegan mashup and got it again and it was almost sour this time. The nachos were good but could use a better cheese sauce. We got 3 tacos and really liked the buffalo chickpea. Other 2 were bbq jackfruit and plantain&black bean and could have done without them. I would give them another try and hope that the 2 times I went were just off days.

Best vegan food on Long Island - Edit
As a gluten free vegan it's been awesome finding this truck!!! I have been going to this truck for a year now. The food gets better every time! The specials and brunch are my favorite! From the regular menu, I like the spicy Vietnamese tacos and special mushroom fatija one's. The bowls, I love the Italian fresco or buffalo chickpea. The grilled mac & cheeze sandwich with ranch and Tempeh "bacon" is amazing! loaded nachos or one of the loaded fries are my go-to's for sharing. And the peanut butter pie jar is the perfect end to any meal.

I love when the Green Street Food truck comes to my neighborhood. The food is fresh and delicious. Even if you’re not “vegan” you will enjoy the food. I absolutely love the Vietnamese Fries. The smoothies are great too. There are quite a few taco options too. The owner, Matt, is always on site cooking and serving the public. I love that I can text an order and pay via Venmo and pick up my food and it’s easy to practice social distancing that way. The food truck is very popular as I have seen many people ordering food when I am there. He serves at different locations which gives those who don’t like to travel a chance to try his food. Be on the lookout for the Green Street Food Truck at street fairs. It’s a healthy alternative to the fatty, fried, greasy food you’d usually find being sold at street fairs. 😊

The best tacos ever - Edit
I had heard from many non vegans that their food was amazing, which is not something you hear non vegans say often about vegan food, so I knew I had to try it. I got the tofu black bean tacos, the Vietnamese tacos, and the strawberry dream smoothie and WOW everything was amazing. I’ve gone a few times now when they’ve been over half an hour away because that’s usually as close as they’ll get to where I live, but it’s worth the drive.

Was excited to try Green Street Food Truck at a vegan festival. Very friendly staff and the food was good. The ingredients tasted very fresh and clean, but it did seem a bit on the bland side. It could use a little more seasoning or salt, but otherwise good. We had the Vietnamese fries, Chili, Mac and Cheez, Tofu black bean taco, Buffalo chick pea taco, and Plantain taco. We liked the chili the most and the Mac and Cheez the least.

Delicious vegan food! - Edit
I had been wanting to try out Green Street Food Truck's menu after salivating over the Instagram page for months. Luckily, I finally got the chance at Long Island's Vegan Extravaganza! There was a massive line for Green Street, and honestly, it's no surprise. My husband and I only got one thing (we had already eaten a lot of other things at the festival), but I'm so happy it was their Strawberry Dream smoothie. It was an absolute delight. So refreshing and just what I needed after stuffing my face with "bad" food. I can't wait to have more of their food!

I was super excited to learn of a vegan food truck near me! A group of 5 us visited when it was in Levittown. The food was not bad, portion sizes were decent. Some of the food was a bit undersalted (I didn't realize that till I finished it at home) and my nachos were a little heavy on the chips and light on the toppings. But everything was tasty!!
