The climb is worth it! - Edit
An absolute MUST for all veganistas in Sarandë. It's not centrally located, but you're rewarded all the more with a warm welcome. We had Babaganoush, Full Falafel Salad and Dal Making. Were thrilled with everything! The menu changes from time to time. So we'll definitely stop by again.

Went to visit Ksamil and stopped here for lunch! The staff is super nice and friendly and explained us that the menu varies every day and everything they have is vegan.
Read moreWe had falafel salad and lentil dahl, and as a started a red pepper hummus with pitas.
The falafel salad was really good! ✨ They also offer something sweet at the end but we were really full.

Not what I had hoped for - Edit
It took me a 35-minute walk uphill in the heat from my beachside hotel to reach Green Life Market, so I was disappointed when the vegan soy burger I ordered turned out to be a soft meat patty that tasted like it had not been cooked. The owner explained that this was because they don't grill or bake their burgers, but heat them in the oven. Not what I had expected when ordering. Because I was full after this main dish, I decided to take a piece of carrot cake back to the hotel with me. That carrot cake more than made up for the disappointing burger. I ate only half and am saving the rest for tomorrow.

Cons: Not a good vegan burger, One third of the menu not available for ordering, Terrible location

Really sorry for this, burger has been on menu all season & first feedback of this kind.
Read moreReally sorry the menu wasn’t more clear on the home style baked version of our burger vs. the mainstream or conventional style. (the falafel patty would have been crunchy as its fried) .
We’ve updated the details on our menu to better describe the patty & take this as an opportunity to better our space for customer’s experience.
That being said for sure, we would’ve been more than happy to switch it out at no cost for you had we known it was too far off from what you expected.
--For menu availability. we cook food fresh daily, potentially get swarmed some nights such as sundays & possibly sell out. its happens.
& Location we've been here since 2022 & live in the building so for us its great, we appreciate the peace away from the crowds.
°traveler tip for vegans: google the restaurants & select a place near😄.. or taxi°
Thanks for the opportunity to clarify.

Best place in all of Albania for vegans! - Edit
Very simple and chill, but amazing place in Sarande. The only real completely vegan restaurant we found in all of Albania. The owners came from Argentina and set up a real vegan shop there which has grown into a restaurant. The people there are so incredibly friendly and it was a blessing to encounter actual vegan people doing this there. They daily prepare everything fresh, and so many ingrediënt, sides and drinks are homemade. The menu changes slightly everyday depending on what they have available.

Vegan paradise in Albania - Edit
My gosh! I was really glad when I found out the only 100% vegan restaurant in Albania was in my vicinity. I drove here with all my love. Green Life Market is a very welcoming place. The outside and below seating is incredible charming. The owners are very friendly, they are doing a good job with this vegan restaurant and supporting straydogs, and ofcourse for being a voice for the voiceless! The food we ordered was so delicious! We ordered sourdough focaccia sandwich, chana massala, vanilla sponge cake with blueberry sauce (2, one to go!), peanutbutter ice creams, kombucha (raspberry & mango to go) and an espresso. A huge RECOMMENDATION! A MUST visit!

Vegan heaven in Sarandë - Edit
I was SOOOO happy to have found this place and finally eat a fresh, home cooked vegan meal. This place is perfect to get some actual nutrition and comfort. It is a very low key and thrifty vibe which I love. 10/10 would recommend if in Sarandë, where most vegan options are mainly dull pasta or pizza without cheese/butter etc.

nice! - Edit
The only fully vegan restaurant in the area. The owners are a nice Argentinian-Canadian couple who have a cute dog. The food was great. We took it to go, but you can also sit outside. They sell a few vegan products too, which is great since the supermarkets don't have a lot/ barely any options

Hi Lesley - as this is our form of animal activism (being 100% vegan not vegetarian in a very meat isolated location) we always appreciate feedback back what we can improve on. We always advise to dine in but let us know what was missing for you so we can do even better - thanks a bunch.

Great vegan food - Edit
A little walk uphill from the beach is this wonderful restaurant. The only full vegan one in Sarande. The Argentinian couple who run it are super friendly. The food was so nicely prepared. We had hummus and then a half falafel salad and chana marsala. Each offering was delicious. The vibe was very chill, and it was rather busy for a Wednesday early evening. Despite the high quality of the food, it was very well priced. We enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend it.

We had a great time with them, nice food, especially the Papas Bravas, for which we went back next day aswell! Thank you for the great meals! Big portions, creativity, they don't use store bought stuff, everything is made by them. Very nice people! You should go between 7.00 pm and 8.00 pm, because they have a menu and you can easily miss your favourite dish, since it's always full🙂🙂

Unique experience! - Edit
A very unique couple run this little eatery on the outskirts of Sarandë. Well worth the 15 minute walk. The menu seems to change every month and all the dishes on offer looked very tempting. Tasty whole food / home-cooked kind of stuff. We really enjoyed the falafel salad and soya shepherds pie. The venue is also very unique, a kind of ruin bar aesthetic on the outdoor terrace, using old doors as tables for example.

Delicious vegan food in a town where meat is the norm! - Edit
I’m so glad we stumbled upon this gem in Sarada, Albania! We had an absolutely fantastic lunch of shepherd’s pie and falafel, all with sparkling water and kombucha, plus a slice of apple cake, all for about $20 per person. The shepherd’s pie had just the right amount of spice, and the falafel were absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back many times before we move on to our next stop. You absolutely have to check out this wonderful little restaurant and the amazing couple who serve up vegan dishes in the town by the Ionian Sea.
