Grain - Wholefood

I went here about a week ago and there really is a fantastic selection for vegans, much better than other small health food stores. As a student I can appreciate the variety of tinned products and soups and the fact that it's all reasonably priced. Definitely recommend checking it out!

My permanent home address is in the locality and I have been a happy customer of Grain for many years. It has recently undergone a refurbishment, which has only enhanced its charm. It now has a modern appearance for its forward thinking, healthy principles. A wide range of vegetarian and vegan food awaits you inside...tofu, vegan pies, pasties, vegan icecream, mayonnaise, freshly baked bread, locally sourced organic salad ingredients, fruit teas, dried pulses, vegan soups, soy burger mix...also think they have organic shampoos and conditioners and women's products. It's a little gem of a shop! A haven for veggies, vegans and those wanting to follow a nutritious and organic diet! :)))

Great little shop with a great selection on offer. Reasonably priced with great customer service.

Found this place by accident whilst looking for Zoo vegetarian cafe which is just over the road down a back lane. A well packed and stocked vegetarian and vegan food store selling a good range of fake meats, vegan cheeses, teas, vitamins, beauty products, toiletries , tinned foods and deli products. A little out of the city centre but in a great part of town with a lot of independent retailers and decent bars and cafes.
