Specialty is prashada. About 90% of the menu is vegan. Will prepare meals with milk products if the customer requests. Uses imitation 'meats' of steaks, schnitzel, fish and a wide variety of soy, flowers, different vegetables and seeds such as chia, lentils, etc. Special request for groups or families contact them. Open Mon-Fri 9:30am-7:00pm. Please note that hours are variable - call ahead before going.

Really strange place. There’s a guy outside selling vegtarian baked goods who effectively acts as a gatekeeper for who is and isn’t allowed into the restaurant. I wasn’t allowed in on my first attempt but was granted entry the next day. Inside was completely empty. The guy who took my order (the only option was the menu of the day) seemed to have forgotten how to smile. The young girl who brought out the food was delightful; full of smiles and eager to help with my lack of Spanish. The food was great but a little expensive compared to similar places in Colombia. I’d probably give it another chance if I ever find myself back in Santa Marta but I don't particularly recommend it.

Delicious vegan meal! - Edit
It was 30,000 for the meal of the day and it was a bit more than i wanted to pay for lunch. But i thought i wanna support this mostly vegan business. The meal was really tasty and they even had vegan fried finger food on the bottom floor 2 pc for 5,000 which sealed the meal for me😄

When I went I was served straight away with the meal of the day which was all vegan. The staff was very kind and I only paid 25,000 pesos for a soup, a main, a juice and a little housemade sweet. Very nice place. When I was there it wasn’t busy at all.

They don't offer any food anymore (information from the owner at their door). Whenever I go I have had problems with their restaurants: either closed without any information, bad food quality or unhygienic restaurant :(

Incredible food for an excellent price. There is no menu just a menu día, which is 28,000 for a drink soup and main. The food was so tasty and such a huge portion, I had to ask for a box to take the leftovers back to the hostel!

I have been visiting Santa Marta several times and I have gone to eat at many restaurants there in the city, but none has surpassed the taste, quality and price that the Govindas restaurant has. In addition, the guys who serve are always very friendly and helpful.
