So good, I ate here 3 times in 24 hours - Edit
Great food - with a wide vegan selection, including breakfast options. I enjoyed my lunch so much I came back for dinner that night and breakfast the next morning! Not cheap but food is really good. My favourite was the Thai spiced pumpkin soup, followed by the vegan panna cotta. Just wish I had saved room for the vegan ice cream!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great coffee

Delicious but expensive - Edit
I ate here 3 times in November 2016. Most vegetarian restaurants in Santa Marta are only open at lunch but this one stays open until 9-ish. They have lots of options on the menu, even gluten-free and vegan. The food is delicious but a bit pricey.
Pros: lot's of items on menu

best soymilk coffee!! - Edit
This place has incredibly good vegan coffees! Went back several times solely for the coffee.
Had the lunch menu ones (which is the only affordable option, as everything else is very pricey) and it was so-so. Soup was great, veggie burger was filling but not that great.
Restaurant itself is beautiful with very friendly and helpful staff and clean kitchen!
Pros: beautiful place, amazing coffee

Best vegan food I had in Colombia - Edit
This place is amazing. I came here several times and the food was always delicious. Several clearly marked vegan options including sandwiches, gnocchi, salads, rice paper rolls, pad thai and brownies. They make incredible limonada de coco. Varied service but never too bad. A bit pricey but the food is worth it.

Amazing! - Edit
Ikaro Cafe is amazing! Their menu has something for everyone (vegan, vegetarian, or meat eater). They also have a daily vegetarian lunch menu which is 15000 COP and comes with a soup, main, and fresh juice. The food is delicious, and the portions are satisfying. I visited almost everyday that I was in Santa Marta for their excellent coffee and delicious vegan ice cream!
Pros: Vegan friendly, Excellent coffee

Great Food For $$$ - Edit
Ikaro would be one of my top Colombian restaurants, if not for the prices. All the main dishes are around $22,000-$28,000, which is very expensive for Colombia. However, it's worth it for a meal - the food is innovative and delicious. I'd recommend the cashew cheese ravioli, the pad Thai, anything with their house made bread and hummus, their vegan ice creams (huge find in Colombia), and their amazing vegan brownie - chewy, gooey and huge.

Excellent food in a nice atmosphere - Edit
I came here twice during my stay in Santa Marta and I absolutely loved the place. The interior design is really nice and gives the place a relaxing feeling.
The lunch I had was really delicious and the portion very big. I ordered a coffee as well and I really loved that they had a choice of soymilk or almond milk.
The stuff was super friendly and I felt very welcomed.
They also sell a lot of products like müsli, quinoa and nuts in their restaurant.
Pros: Tasty food, Nice atmosphere, Nice location

Delicious! - Edit
After three days of eating crappy food in Tayrona, this meal seemed like one of the best of my life. I had the dish of the day, which was a coconut curry, and it was ama-zing. So I felt compelled to write a review immediately. My friend had the pad thai and said it was almost better than the original she had in Thailand. The menu lists vegan options. Service is great and the place is super relaxing. The dish of the day (15000 pesos) could be a little bit cheaper though. But I definitely recommend it!
Pros: interior design, vegan friendly , service
