Garden yes, Gourmet no - Edit
We went to this place in the evening as it was a short walk from our B&B and we were hungry after a day of travel. The little garden is delightful, and we enjoyed sitting in it. The place was not busy and we ordered right away. The food was OK. We have had Indian in many places. The samosa was flaky and hot. Seasoned well. The veg curry was mediocre (frozen peas and carrot mix, potato chunks in curry sauce-very soupy) and came with bread OR rice. We got the naan. It was like the naan you get from CostCo. The woman who served us was very kind and attentive.

Delicious Indian - Edit
We found this restaurant in HappyCow and loved it. The owner is extremely friendly and they have many many vegan options. The patio area is also very relaxing.

Delicious Indian options - Edit
It's basically a mom and pop food stand with ample outdoor seating. There is a clearly marked vegan section on the menu and the owner who took our order was very helpful at explaining the options. We had the veg Biryani and Veg Curry roti. During our meal we were introduced to the co-owner who cooked our meal (his wife) so we got a chance to tell her how excellent the food was. It has beautiful serene atmosphere and attentive service.

Yummy food and nice little place in Historic District - Edit
There’s not many vegan options in the Historic District in St Augustine (my bf and I looked and looked). But this little Indian restaurant has them!
Read moreWe had the Veg Biryani (which is a mixed riced dish, order no meat) and Veg Curry (order no meat and with white rice; also comes with a Samosa). Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. The staff were very friendly.

Hands down best Indian food. - Edit
The food here is spectacular, the owner is incredibly kind as well as being a very gifted chef. When we left, I wanted to stop people in the street to tell them how good the food was! I'm not usually a biryani fan, but this one was simple, tasteful, and delicious. I had the veggie curry which, again, was perfect. The paratha weren't on the menu, but the chef was quick to tell me he had made some fresh that morning - so delicious!!
