I love this place - Edit
When you want a super tasty Chinese meal with their own vegan menu then head here. Sure it's noisy as heck and pretty grubby but the food is soooo good. I love the string beans (absolutely delicious), vermicelli Singapore noodles and the vegan special fried rice (mock chicken and mock pork).

Plentiful vegan options - Edit
Had a whole booklet as a vegan menu, spoilt for choice which is often not experienced. Had the pak choi with garlic, cooked and tasted fantastic. The vegan special fried rice and Singapore vegetable noodles also catered great and were a surprising hit with kids too. Had to order seconds.

separated fully vegan menu - Edit
The restaurants offers a separated fully vegan menu that includes many Asian dishes as well as mock meat. The food is good but it’s also quite expensive. The service is not that good an the atmosphere is not very cozy.

Open late! - Edit
After coming out of a show at 10:30, we were surprised to find it a struggle to find an open restaurant!
Read moreWe stumbled across this absolute gem of a Chinese restaurant! They had a separate vegan menu, we ordered LOADS the vegan chicken satay main was amazing, as was the noodles and everything else!
You pay when you order instead of after you’ve eaten, Which doesn’t bother me at all - very polite and very quick service! Would definitely recommend!

Plenty of options, fast service - Edit
I asked for the vegan menu and indeed there are plenty of choices. I would have preferred some more vegetable options, this was heavy on the mock meat.
Read moreI ordered a starter and a main, both arrived quickly and tasted fine. This plus a drink added up to just under £30, not cheap but given the location also not a surprise. I’d give 3.5 stars if that was possible.
Pros: Vegan menu , Quick service
Cons: Heavy emphasis on fake meat

Awful - Edit
I visited as a party of six and this was one of the worst experiences I have had in a restaurant. Two of our dishes didn't come so we had to chase them up, one dish wasn't even written on the menu. We weren't told the dishes when they were served, not great for trying to work out which one's the vegan option. We asked for the 12.5% service charge to be taken off and they refused. After a while of protesting that we weren't going to pay it due to poor service they took it off and told us not to return.

Fantastic - Edit
The food was so good, even basic things like the rice were lovely! Probably the best meal we had whilst in London, including fully vegan places. Would highly recommend.

Wasn’t confident - Edit
Had lunch here but didn’t feel too confident about the staff knowing the menu. I asked for the vegan menu which had loads of options on it. There was a hand written note on the front and back stating that all dishes have a £4 per dish supplement even though some of the dishes are on the regular menu without the supplement. I asked staff if the fried tofu on the two different menus was the same and was told that it contained egg! I pointed out that it was on a vegan menu to which I was told that it hadn’t been updated (despite being an entirely different menu labelled “vegan”). I asked for an allergen menu to double check but received a list of known allergens, not really helpful. In the end I had the Sweet and Sour Chick’n and plain rice which was nice but I didn’t feel confident to order anything else. When the bill arrived they hadn’t charged the £4 supplement 🤷🏻♂️

Surprisingly good vegan menu - Edit
I had been heading for Vantra but it was shut, so I came here after seeing the previous review. The vegan menu has loads of options. Everything we ordered was delicious. The mock chicken and mock duck were some of the best mock meats I’ve ever had. We also had Chinese broccoli, which was nice, and the veg that came with the mock duck and rice was tasty. Ordered veg dumplings off the main menu, which were okay but I wouldn’t order them again.

Tasty mock chick’in dishes - Edit
Really like the kung po vegan chick’in - they will do fried rice without egg too. They have a separate vegan/vegetarian menu, just ask for it. I go all the time.
