the most delicious ice cream i've ever had! - Edit
the ice cream parlor offers vegan options that are definitely worth a visit. i was so happy to finally find a vegan pistachio ice cream again! the cocoa variant is also highly recommended. vegetarians have the option of ordering the ice cream in a brioche bun, which is not vegan!

Small portions, good selection, hit & miss - Edit
The gelateria has a good selection of vegan ice cream. When we visited, 11 out of 26 flavors where made without animal milk: mandorla, pistacchio, coccolato chuao (con fave caramellate & zucchero di cocco), giandujotto, cocco, fragola, lampone, mapo e arancia marinata, perso e carella, mango di Sicilia and uva fragola.
Read moreWe tasted four or them. Two were great (giandujotto and mapo e arancia marinata), two not so much (coccolato chuao and pistacchio). Especially the pistacchio was underwhelming compared to what we tasted elsewhere.
The store offers two different vegan ice cream cones, but their cialde as well as their brioche are not vegan unfortunately.
The portions are very small compared to what you can get in other gelaterias.

Thanks for your review! Just FYI, I asked today and they said that their brioche is not vegan. Maybe it changed, but it definitely didn’t sound like they have two different kinds of brioche.

I stopped there on purpose while walking because I saw the sign for vegan brioche, so I don't think they cheated me because it was well signposted. At this point I think they took it away. What a pity.

… mostly sorbet though. Aside from the sorbet, the vegan options were pistachio, almond and chocolate. Pistachio was delicious, chocolate a bit disappointing.

friendly staff, who clearly knew what was and wasn’t vegan. cones are vegan but wafers are not! have lots of sorbets and flavours like almond chocolate and pistachio which don’t contain milk!

Delicious vegan ice cream - Edit
They have multiple vegan flavours, which are also listed on their website, as well as a vegan cone. I had chocolate and pistachio, both of which were delicious, especially since the ice cream had cacao nibs/pistachio pieces in it. It's also really close to the train station (easily reachable by foot if you have some time to kill before your next train).
