This place is a great find! We walked quite a distance from our apartment to get here but it was so nice when we arrived. There is a nice seating area and a good selection of vegan flavours - 3 vegan ice creams (pistachio, hazelnut and dark chocolate) and 4 vegan sorbets (strawberry, lemon, mango and passion fruit). 3 scoops cost €4. We went for chocolate, hazelnut and pistachio and it was delicious

They have really good creamy vegan ice creams. Vegan flavours are clearly labeled and they have fruit flavours and chocolate, hazelnut and pistachio. We tried passion fruit, pistachio, dark chocolate and hazelnut and they were all really delicious.

The vegan flavours were in the same fridge. When we went the vegan options were dark chocolate, pistachio, hazelnut, mango, lemon and another fruit one. The hazelnut was delicious but the pistachio didn't taste of much.

The waffle cones are vegan, as are most of their sorbets, the dark chocolate ice cream, and the 2 delicious flavours that we enjoyed too - hazelnut and pistachio. Vegan options are all clearly labelled too.

Read moreThis galaterea is on the lower promenade. There is another in a similar position on the upper promenade. When we asked there “are any of these ice creams vegan?”, we got an emphatic “NO”. So glad we persevered and found the right one.

It’s a bit confusing on maps, but if you ask the locals they are happy to help. There are two separate businesses, this is the one downstairs and has passion fruit, lemon, strawberry, and mango sorbet; and pistachio, chocolate, and hazelnut on the display freezer.

I noticed some multi-packs of vegan magnum-type ice creams in the larger supermarkets, but I’m glad I made the trip here for an ice cream on the beach. :)

Due to food allergies (milk proteine and soy) my son and I went to visit this little ice cream shop. There were over 5 types of vegan ice cream, water or rice milk based. There was mango, pistacio, dark chocolate, lemon and some sort of Spanish cake flavor. Very tasty and not too expensice (€4 for 2 scoops).
