Funkink Delicious Trip to the Vegan Heaven of Junk Food - Edit
I have visited Funkink Burgers multiple times and all my experiences were great considering my vegan needs of delicious but not so fancy food. The staff are nice, the location is in the heart of OldTown Bucharest which is a nice feature (very central) and it has so much potential to go big as the food is absolutely delicious. They also have the cheapest wine by glass in the whole OldTown area which is good to know. You can also have your burger -naked- without the bun. Gluten free options are also available. Furthermore, drinks are most of it quite local and the beers are very nice made in Romania.

Great fast food place in central Bucharest. Fast vegan burgers with good portions and lots of options. The burger tasted so meaty I had to double check it was vegan!

Funkink is definitely a staple in vegan Bucharest. I liked the variety on the menu, as well as what I ordered. Will definitely come back dessert next time.

Read moreI had the cheeseburger and wedges, both were delicious. There are a lot of things I want to try from the menu, so I'll definitely go back there. I also liked the location in the old town with outdoor seating.
They have a menu in English and friendly English speaking staff. The burgers have mysterious creative nicknames, but the ingredients of each are listed at the end if the menu.

Tasty burgers in the heart of the Old City - Edit
Visited FunKink for dinner tonight and will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu during my stay in Bucharest. I had an aptly named Happy Cow Burger, which was a raw beetroot based burger, with some tasty nuggets and fries on the side. 🤤 The menu is well priced and there were at least 6 burgers to choose from, it was nice to sit outside in the old town and enjoy good food while watching the world go by. Accepts contactless card payment.

I love the meat alternative burgers, they have them all: Beyond US, Moving Mountains UK, Naturli Danish and Verdino Romanian
Read moreI had all of them either at their terrace or home delivered. Also their vegan soy based chicken chunks are great, meaty and with garlic sauce... Yummy 🤤
However the menu options are not that easy to figure out, maybe here to re-work the menu. I've added a photo with the meat alternative burgers

Also has vegan mushroom oysters and chicken chunks and nuggets. Everything about this place screams vegan and tastes amazing. Oh, almost forgot they also have amazing desserts ... MUST MUST TRY and REPEAT over and over again - maybe they should introduce a SUBSCRIBE option for the addicts amongst us .. hahaha

Up until now I only tried one of their burgers, the not chick'n chunks, not chick'n nuggets and their cake and it was all very good! I will eat from there more often. I especially liked the cake, taste and texture were perfect, it was not too sweet and all in all delicious.
