Mooi aanbod aan vegan snacks - Edit
Meerdere vegan opties waaronder bamischijf, bamiballetjes, groenteballetjes, mini-loempia's, vegan kipcorn, etc... Allemaal even lekker! Frietjes en snacks worden ook standaard in plantaardig vet gebakken. Verder nog zeer vriendelijke bediening en gezellig interieur. Topfrituur!

Traditional 'frietkot' with some vegan snacks - Edit
We had tried visiting once before, but it was on a Sunday evening, and really crowded inside then.
Read moreThis time was quieter (we were early in the evening), and as it was a nice Summer evening, we could now take a seat outside.
Had large pack fries, vegan 'chicken' nuggets, kipcorn, mini loempias (springrolls), and 2x veganaise.
Very cheap (together with 3 drinks, it was about 21€) Some of the snacks (or all?) are from Mora.
The veganaise is the only vegan labelled sauce, but some of the other sauces are probably also vegan (check).
Also selection of vegetables dish available (see photo).
It's very rare for a frietkot to
1) bake in plantbased oil
2) have vegan snacks (clearly labelled).
Especially in this rural area between Ghent and Bruges. So 👏🏼👏🏼

Would love to see more vegan 'frietkot'/fastfood options though. Like vegan cheesecroquettes, onion rings, stoverij, stoofvleessaus, brochetten, ... and a bun for the burger. 😉
Entrance is accessible (small curve). Toilet upstairs. Parking for several cars in front.

Best place in Aalter to eat vegan! We tried all their vegan vegetable balls and they were great. They all had a distinct flavor. Would go again.
