Absolutely LOVE this place. Any time I’m near I go out of my way to get these tacos. Order extra to share and so that I can stuff my self. Always have to spend some extra time in the gym after a visit.

Read moreWhen we tried to visit on a Saturday at 4:30, they had closed early due to running out of ingredients. Fortunately we were able to visit on Sunday. So get there early if you can.

The food is amazing and the people are great! We drive 20 minutes just to get these and they are worth the drive. There are very few high protein vegan Mexican food options. My kids (teenagers) love this place and always beg to go get it.

Authentic unpretentious tacos - Edit
If God were to drop a perfectly created vegan taco truck from above, it would be Fredo’s. On the California coast amongst artichoke fields and vegetable stands, this truck feels too good to be true. My wife who is Mexican says this is what was missing from the Northern California vegan food scene, somewhere that just specializes in the tacos and which takes pride in having a limited menu where tacos are your only option because that’s the whole point. Worth any distance you might travel to get here

I finally made it down to Moss Landing to check out Fredo's Vegan Tacos and was not disappointed! I had the mushroom and asada tacos and they were both delicious with a combination of savory, crunchy and fresh flavors.

Whether you’re a local or traveling down the one on an overland trip this is a spot you won’t want to miss. This has become an almost weekly stop for my girlfriend and I and we aren’t planning on changing that.

The owners are great. Super nice people. Always friendly and courteous happy to know you enjoyed their great food.
If you have any make sure to have the Al Pastor. It’s one of our favorites and get it each time without fail.
