We found GPS had us going to a different location. We lucked out and saw the truck before we passed it by going to where GPS designated. We mentioned to the owner and they said they have heard others had the same issue.
Read moreTacos were fabulous. Great concept. We loved the simple menu. Straightforward tacos! We tried the green, red and mushroom and loved them all. For us, the size of them, made (3) a good portion for lunch. We topped with spicy salsa and it had just a bit of heat.

Best vegan tacos. Fuel your surfing! - Edit
The staff is friendly, food is amazing, price is perfect and they are in my small town. They are passionate and bring vegan food to the masses. When I go there I can tell non-vegans are getting their first taste of how good the food can be. Definitely changes perspectives. I have a lot of non vegan friends who have salivated at my praise for the spot and tried it and loved it. Now they are regulars. Great to see people enjoy plant based food but more importantly go back because they liked it soo much. There are lots of Mexican food spots. But they would choose this over the others. Speaks a lot about how good vegan food can be. Staff is super friendly and always want to chat and the price is just right. I support them anytime I can.

Food truck is located in the Thistle Hut parking lot on Highway one between Marina and Moss landing. Very pleasantly surprised to find a vegan taco truck. We tried one of each taco and our favorites were the red chorizo and the el pastor. #Veganuary

Excellent vegan taco lunch at Fredo's today! Between the two of us, my wife and I had six street tacos, including asada, el pastor, and chorizo rojo tacos. Everything was extremely tasty, especially the asada and el pastor. $9 for a three taco lunch was good value. We love El Cantaro in Monterey, but they are not open on Friday evenings or Saturdays. And, Fredo's is a quicker trip for us. We will be regulars.

Love seeing this vegan taco truck on my way home! The couple running this food truck are super sweet, always a joy to talk to. They make each and every order with care, and it’s always been consistent. I love the tacos they make and the fact that they have pickled red onions and radishes is huge. You actually get an adequate amount of lime wedges too. So long as they keep showing up I’ll keep stopping because this stuff is good. Do yourself a favor and stop here. Thank you guys for making your home right there off the road in Moss Landing, my favorite halfway point.

We are SO grateful to have found Fredo’s! It was seriously like a dream to see a sign for vegan tacos as we were driving up Hwy 1. Until today, our favorite vegan tacos have been in Tulum, MX, so we were wildly impressed when Fredo's climbed the ranks and took the number one spot. #Veganuary
