Buffet with many options available - Edit
This restaurant in the center of Assisi propose a large choice of vegetables. It's a buffet, so you can change whatever you want. Good choice in the town.

A real oasis in the desert of tourist-trappy mercenary places - Edit
Just one minute walk from the main town square this place is a true gem among all the "restaurants" who don't care about you at all.
Read moreIf you don't feel like being exploited for your money in an ignorant setting, choose this place instead of the more classic restaurants. Sure, there is no waiters or table service here. It is more like a fast food place, but the stuff is very helpful, friendly and they really showed interest in what we wanted. It was such a stark difference compared to other soulless places.
You can choose whatever you want to eat from several "ingredients". Great for anyone with picky taste or just to break away for once from the standardised dishes. They do mix-and-match from anything you fancy.
Overall this place is so much different than other options in this town. If you'd like to have a proper meal in a laid back atmosphere with real humans running the place this is for you.

A life saver - Edit
We have visited so many places, but I still remember this one, because of the super nice lady. That day we were very hungry and almost every place was closed, then we found this one. They didn't close because of us as we learned it later.
