Good, but I didn’t LOVE it

Some of the dishes that I really wanted to try were sold out, so I might possibly return one day to try those, but otherwise I wasn’t blown away by anything. My friend and I both thought some of the flavours were very strange. They are trying to be very creative and interesting with their dishes here but I think some of the flavours (especially some of the sauces) just don’t work.

Of the dishes we ordered, I’d say the gyoza was one of the best, as well as a fried mushroom salad which I didn’t get a picture of. We didn’t really like the spring rolls or the dips they came with. And I didn’t think any of the dishes were worth the price being charged.

We also felt a little rushed to leave at the end of the night. They still had a lot of time before closing time but we were kind of hurried along, which I didn’t love.

Good but not THAT good

I felt like the drinks and dishes were made well, but I don't think they were worth the price of admission. Out of what we ordered, the radish cakes were done quite nicely since they were cut up into smaller cubes, so you get more crunch surface area than normal. The truffle stinky tofu sounds interesting but also trite. It's too bad they don't offer more vegan desserts, but if you want some you can choose from the mille-feuille with matcha, sesame, and peanut or the panna cotta with chestnut, brown sugar, and genmaicha. I might come back someday, but it's not high on my list of priorities.
