Incredible gluten free dishes!

Lovely (large) portion sizes, the gluten free vegan che*se toasties are nothing short of scrummy (the bread has the same taste and texture as non gluten free)!! Fantastic atmosphere and great location if you are a fan of donkeys !

Pros: Lots of vegan and gluten free options , Lovely atmosphere , Big portion sizes

Great food, good price

All veggie or vegan. We had toasties with salad and lentil crisps, tea with oat milk at £1.30 per cup( most places are now £2.00 to £2.50.) and crumble Jack cakes. (There was a choice of 4 vegan cakes).
All lovely so amazing for a small venue. Staff very good and on outside seats we had a view over the donkey sanctuary with the sea beyond.

Pros: Excellent value, All veggie or vegan, Tasty food

Little gem

An unexpected little gem that didn't call itself vegan or veggie but it seems it is the unsaid ethic of the donkey sanctuary. I had the organic tomato soup, the best I have ever had 😋.

Pros: No meat in the place... , Good value

Cons: Not a vast menu but ample

Cozy cafe 🍄

Really lovely place, cafe was friendly and the vegan food tasty! That combined with visiting the happy donkeys made a really wonderful lunch 🍉

Delicious cake

We visited the sanctuary on a wet June day and was very happy to find a lovely little cafe on site serving only vegetarian and vegan food and drinks. We ordered soya lattes that were lovely, toasted ‘cheese’ and chutney sandwiches that came with a decent salad garnish and crisps. Followed by the most delicious chocolate and raspberry cake. At under £10 each I was impressed, not gourmet, but decent cafe food at a decent price and a wonderful little charity with over 100 donkeys on site.
