Fabulous food - Edit
The jacket potato was really good, and the cakes are all out of this world! Would recommend to anyone, especially with the added bonus of donkeys, and knowing you're helping to support a sanctuary

Best treatment of donkeys and best vegan cafe I've been in! - Edit
An amazing place. Its free to enter, however donations are very welcome. I'd encourage anybody who enters to give generously. it's worth it. The donkeys have plenty of room to venture, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful. The areas are kept clean and tidy. The cafe has great tasting vegan sandwiches and cakes, and a range of drinks. Plenty of parking. Will absolutely be telling people about this wonderful heaven sanctuary, and we will absolutely be visiting again to see the donkeys of course, but to also eat at the cafe. The food was honestly so good.❤️😊

Super friendly Flicka 💚 - Edit
So happy me and my mum came here to visit during our holiday. This has to be one of the friendliest places we’ve visited. Super cute donkeys everywhere. An all Vegan cafe as well 💚 with a good choice of food and drinks all served by smiley faces. We came away sponsoring some donkeys as well. Super day out.

This donkey sanctuary is absolutely wonderful and they’re doing incredible work there, and the icing on the (vegan) cake is that the cafe is fully vegan. Delicious light meals and a huge selection of cakes, including a vegan cream tea - heaven!

One of Cornwall's most peaceful places with a superb cafe serving something for everyone - Edit
This place is bliss! The whole Sanctuary has a wonderfully relaxed feel and their cafe has the perfect range of options for a delicious lunch or a hot drink and cake break (or both!). From toasted sandwiches and filled jacket potatoes or homemade soup, to chocolate brownies and epic carrot cake, everything I've tried so far has been top notch. This is one of Cornwall's lesser known spots which you'll wish you'd discovered sooner.

Amazing food and all vegan - Edit
The cafe has come such a long way in the last couple of years. Everything is vegan and the specials are amazing for such a small kitchen. We had a massaman curry and a sausage and red wine cassoulet today, and there was a choice of 10 cakes or more. Really great place.

Flicka has over 100 donkeys and ponies that they have rescued over the years and survive on donations from the public - Please if you get the opportunity, go see the incredible safe space they have created and eat the BEST Carrot Cake EVER!!
The Tea Bray'k cafe is lush with a variety of soup, toasties, cakes, pasties etc..so good! On this trip I had carrot cake, a cinnamon swirl/muffin and a vegan sausage roll - yum.
Second trip me and my bf definitely shared 4 cakes!!
They have oat, soya, coconut and other pb milks
I love that in January this year they turned their tearoom fully vegan to align with the ethos of the sanctuary, they've done such a great job!

Totally vegan 😊 delicious cakes! - Edit
Sooo happy to hear this tearoom has recently gone 100% vegan - feels appropriate for any animal sanctuary to me! 👏 it was hard to choose a cake, they all looked so delicious. Carrot cake was a GREAT choice - it was exceedingly good carrot cake 🥕 and my mocha was a cup of velvety goodness with the cutest donkey on top!

In all of Cornwall this place had the only vegan Cornish pasty we’ve come across. It was wholemeal and reasonably good with an option to add salad, pickle and coleslaw.

If you’re looking for a cafe stop, it’s worth considering this as they do good work in rescue of donkeys and horses. #Veganuary
Pros: All vegan, Reasonable price and quality, Friendly atmosphere with live donkey feed!
Cons: Only two toilets which is a problem at peak times, Cafe isn’t the easiest to access, Pasty could have been more flavoursome.
