Amazing food and all vegan - Edit
The cafe has come such a long way in the last couple of years. Everything is vegan and the specials are amazing for such a small kitchen. We had a massaman curry and a sausage and red wine cassoulet today, and there was a choice of 10 cakes or more. Really great place.

A vegan ethos flows through this sanctuary and the cafe is just part of it. Great cakes/sandwiches/soups and a pizza special made our day . Reasonably priced too, but some wait for food

Great vegan cafe surrounded by rescued donkeys - Edit
What’s not to love? Vegan food & drink and >100 rescued donkeys to admire and interact with. Love that they were brave enough to switch to completely vegan and live in line with their ethics.

Flicka has over 100 donkeys and ponies that they have rescued over the years and survive on donations from the public - Please if you get the opportunity, go see the incredible safe space they have created and eat the BEST Carrot Cake EVER!!
The Tea Bray'k cafe is lush with a variety of soup, toasties, cakes, pasties etc..so good! On this trip I had carrot cake, a cinnamon swirl/muffin and a vegan sausage roll - yum.
Second trip me and my bf definitely shared 4 cakes!!
They have oat, soya, coconut and other pb milks
I love that in January this year they turned their tearoom fully vegan to align with the ethos of the sanctuary, they've done such a great job!
Pros: So much cake, Coffee is good, Can see the donkeys while eating

Totally vegan 😊 delicious cakes! - Edit
Sooo happy to hear this tearoom has recently gone 100% vegan - feels appropriate for any animal sanctuary to me! 👏 it was hard to choose a cake, they all looked so delicious. Carrot cake was a GREAT choice - it was exceedingly good carrot cake 🥕 and my mocha was a cup of velvety goodness with the cutest donkey on top!

Great cause and reasonable food - Edit
In all of Cornwall this place had the only vegan Cornish pasty we’ve come across. It was wholemeal and reasonably good with an option to add salad, pickle and coleslaw.

If you’re looking for a cafe stop, it’s worth considering this as they do good work in rescue of donkeys and horses. #Veganuary
Pros: All vegan, Reasonable price and quality, Friendly atmosphere with live donkey feed!
Cons: Only two toilets which is a problem at peak times, Cafe isn’t the easiest to access, Pasty could have been more flavoursome.

Little gem - Edit
An unexpected little gem that didn't call itself vegan or veggie but it seems it is the unsaid ethic of the donkey sanctuary. I had the organic tomato soup, the best I have ever had 😋.

Delicious cake - Edit
We visited the sanctuary on a wet June day and was very happy to find a lovely little cafe on site serving only vegetarian and vegan food and drinks. We ordered soya lattes that were lovely, toasted ‘cheese’ and chutney sandwiches that came with a decent salad garnish and crisps. Followed by the most delicious chocolate and raspberry cake. At under £10 each I was impressed, not gourmet, but decent cafe food at a decent price and a wonderful little charity with over 100 donkeys on site.
