A lot variety and very delicious ice cream - Edit
One portion is 1,50€, considering they seem to only use good ingredients, I was surprised it is so affordable. It was really really delicious.

Good flavours, mostly fruity ones with some interesting sounding flavours. gelato was not as creamy as some other places but still very delicious, would definitely recommend if you are in the area. quite affordable.

All ice cream flavours are very well detailed, with some icons indicating whether they contain eggs, milk, nuts, etc... which is detailed as a bit confusing. They don't show the previous "V" for vegan, but it is necessary to ask for understanding what is vegan.

When I went to Fata Morgana about half the gelati were vegan. They were not labeled vegan but had symbols showing they were dairy and egg free. Most of the options are fruit, which I’m not usually very excited about as you can find those anywhere, but they did have some interesting combos (banana lime, apple cinnamon) so at least it was a bit more original.
Read moreI ended up getting the two non-fruit options, which were ‘estasi’ (chocolate, coffee and hazelnut) and ‘panacea’ ( mint, ginseng, and almond). They were both really lovely. The panacea was different than any other ice cream I’ve had and a really light, refreshing option. The estasi was good for a creamier, heavier option.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to go again, but if you are in the area and want some gelati, I would recommend Fata Morgana.

This gelateria has a good choice of vegan flavours. I tried their "panacea" flavour, a mix of almond milk, mint and ginseng. Other flavours I liked were orange chocolate, banana-lime, and an inventive chestnut-myrtle.

Vegan ice creams in Rome - Edit
This gelateria offers several ice cream flavours without milk products. They have a very good taste but I was not really fond of the texture. Prices are fair and the staff is friendly. You have to ask for those that are vegan since it is not clearly indicated. A stop is requested if you are in the area!

The ice cream flavours they come up with here are phenomenal; we've had dark Venezuelan chocolate laced with coffee, ginseng, Avocado and basil, the best pistachio and almond, chocolate orange, amazing sorbets.... they have special mixes such as (our favourite by far) "thought"; strawberry, ginger, horseradish, lime. Came here multiple times and was never disappointed. The serving sizes are not huge, but they're so flavourful that it's okay!!

Amazing Vegan Flavors! - Edit
This icecream shop must have over 20 flavours to chose from - of which half are easily vegan. Bio/organic and locally made. Every vegan flavour I tried was amazing in its own way! Flavours were very creative and original and by far the best variety I have ever seen!

I do like this ice cream shop, but i prefer the other localization, which is not in tourist place :)
Read moreso they are maybe not so cheap (for nice pack of ice cream you pay 3,5 euro), but they're really good, fresh, not too sweet and no animal fats.
I advise flavours like- figs, banana and lime, chocolate with orange :) they have even vegan cone. all fruits are for vegans, they have interesting uncommon flavours, but good.
Pros: new flavours with spices, quality, good taste, fresh and not too sweet

Nice to meet this little ice cream store in Trastevere, a very crowded place, especially in the weekends. The ice cream are very genuine and delicious and original flavours, with plenty of vegan option. one of the best ice cream in Rome.
