Really nice food - Edit
This is really nice food, and inexpensive (TL20 for a large mixed plate). I came back to eat twice. The food is all vegan except the Aryan (yoghurt drink). The staff are really nice.

Piece of rock in my food - Edit
I'd love to leave a good review here, as the lady working here is such a sweetheart... but while eating I almost broke my tooth on a piece of rock in my falafel. The only logical explanation for this is that the falafel dough fell on the ground and it was scraped off the ground to re-use it. Which is why I was too disgusted to eat anything else. Threw the entire take-out away. Hygiene isn't something to mess with.

That's a shame... I think it's possible though, or maybe even likely that a stone got mixed in with the dried chickpeas that were used to make the falafel.

Fantastic! - Edit
Communication without Turkish/Arabic was a bit hard + had to wait some time...
Read moreBut it was completely worth it! The (menu2-) plate was amazing! Filling and delicious! And inexpensive!
Seems like anyone has a "most delicious place" in Istanbul. Was at some of them - couldn't confirm. But THIS place - I would suggest it.
There are some seatings upstairs.

- Edit
The food here is INCREDIBLE! I went 2 nights in a row, both times I got falafel and baba ganoush. They also let you order as many falafel as you want, so you can get a plate based on your appetite. Friendly staff with good English, upstairs seating is nice too.

I came back every night 😃 - Edit
I went to falafel koy on the first night of my stay in Instanbul, I ended up coming back every night afterwards.
Read moreWith no exaggeration this was best the falefals I've ever tasted, each mouthful was delicious.
On top of that the people who run it are incredibly friendly, they made me feel really welcome like I was eating in there house as a guest. I found out later that it's a friends and family run business cooking homemade traditional syrain food.
It’s 100% Vegan & great value for money.
Falafel Koy is a must on any Istanbul visit.
Pros: amazing food, super nice people, great value
Cons: none

The best falafel I’ve ever had! - Edit
This place is amazing! The staff are all incredibly friendly, and even gave us bigger portions than normal. I can honestly say that it’s the best falafel me and my partner have ever tasted - and we eat a lot of it! The plates were served with fresh salad, hummus and fried pitta bread, and all complimented the falafel amazingly. You also get unlimited pitta bread on the table. We’ve been back a couple of times and would recommend it to anyone looking for an incredible falafel at a cheap price!

basic but cheap - Edit
Choice between felafel wrap (6TL) or felafel plate (10TL). So very cheap. The food is basic but a reliable vegan option and staff are very friendly. Very close to community kitchen in a cool alley away from the hustle.

It's a small place with some tables upstairs, you can order either falafel wrap, mixed plate, or other individual items.

No need to be köy - this falafel is awesome - Edit
We found it hard to find good quality vegan food in Istanbul that were reliably open. Falafel Köy was a great little find - fresh ingredients, simply prepared in a modest setting. The owners are really helpful and friendly (and speak good English). Definitely worth a visit if you're in Beyoğlu. We had the falafel wraps one night and went back for the mixed plate and fetta (a mixture of tahini, chickpeas, and fried bread - sounds weird but is super tasty). The restaurant is 100% vegan.

Best falafel ever - Edit
I tend not to like falafel, it's just something vegans have to fall back on a lot. But these were life-changing. We got a variety platter and everything was great. The owner fresh-pressed some pomegranate juice for us too.
