Fab Mexican food!! - Edit
10/10 food and amazing portions, I had the Korean tofu classic burrito and it was one of the yummiest burritos I’ve ever had. Also a very chilled space to go and have a casual meal out!

Incredible burritos - Edit
Firstly we loved finding a quiet space away from the christmas mayhem of York. The set up is in a container park, but there is lots of seating and nice warm outdoor heaters.
Read moreThe food was incredible and we really wanted to try everything. In the end we went for the korean tofu burrito and the mushroom burrito. We didn't add any extra hot sauce and for us both the burritos were perfectly spiced. They were also super filling for lunch. The tofu was a favourite and was a perfect firm texture. Staff were super friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting york.

We had two classic burritos - one with ‘beef’ filling and one with mushroom filling. Both fantastic and bursting with flavour. Also shared a spiced fries which were amazing 😍 so happy we found this place!

Nice little suprise in York centre - Edit
Gorgeous, street food with excellent flavours, a nice surprise when you're hungry and need some good food quickly, without needing to look for" is it vegan" or reading labels!

Note it is just over the bridge, from the coffee merchants house on the left in the little complex made of containers.
We came from the shambles, past York Gin, then left and filled the road over the water, so really isn't a far walk from there. The signage isn't so obvious (at least to me) from the road, but the Happy Cow app got us there okay👍

Huge and tasty burrito. We didnt try anything else, but were satisfied and full afterwards (shared one burrito between two people and had one vegan empanada from the colombian food stall, too).

Read moreIt's great to have a fully vegan vendor in SPARK, & you can't go wrong with burgers, burritos & tacos. The burritos can be classic, cali (with fries) or naked (no wrap) & there's 3 filling options, as well as sauces (free) & extras (added cost), so there's lots of room to customise. I had a classic one with the sweet potato filling & it was very nice, although could maybe have done with a little more spice. It was too big to bite into, so I had to dive into it with a fork, which isn't really what you'd expect from street food. Although the portion was huge, I do think that it was a little pricy for street food. But overall if you're looking for a quick, filling vegan meal in a place with great atmosphere, then it's worth a visit.

Recently changed its name and it’s menu but it is still delicious. The best vegan nachos snd the burritos are still tasty. Would definitely recommend. Food about £7/8 which is good value.

I had a cheezeburger burrito and although I wasn’t keen on the flavour of the burger patty I did enjoy all the other flavours - the lime rice, the salsa, the pickled veg. Would eat here again but would choose a different filling. My friend ordered the tacos which looked amazing!

Had the 10" jalapeño tofu burrito with all the fillings and it's one of the nicest I've tasted! So fresh & full of flavour. Got it delivered to our hotel so didn't see the restaurant but the takeaway packaging etc is all recyclable 😊👌🏻

Good venue, great food. Burritos and jalapeno fries were excellent and filling. Find a table and scan the QR code to order from the app, great idea but we coudn't get the app to load so ordered from the counter. Friendly staff too. Will visit again on our next trip to York.

Delicious tacos in a unique setting - Edit
Our first time at Spark and we were really impressed. We ordered from Dogs Nose as it's completely plant based. We went for habanero tofu tacos and chorizo tacos, washed down with a refreshing lime jarrito soda. The flavours were incredible but they're only little ..I wish they were bigger (I am greedy 🤣). I think the burritos look better value for money (something to remember for next time!). Bonus points for the ability to order through Deliveroo directly to the table!

Enjoyed after a lovely day in York - Edit
We wanted to visit a vegan food restaurant after our day out in York, but it was Saturday night and we hadn't booked a table. Luckily we managed to queue to get into 'Spark York' to eat here. The food was amazing and to our surprise, many of the other food places inside Spark also had Vegan options 😍

Great food. Too big to finish! Got a burrito and fries with tomatillo salsa. I made the mistake of adding everything to the burrito and it was a bit too salty for me and I should have only got one choice of pickles, not two. But that’s my fault. I regret not trying the tacos. Table service through Deliveroo was a bit tricky to use on some phones. One star off because of hangry frustration with app ordering.
