Best burger I've had - Edit
Lovely little vegan burger shop at the food market. Genuinely the best vegan burger I've had - which was the beef smash burger with maple bacon.
Read morePartner said hers was really nice too.
They also prepared the food despite their payment system failing and order getting lost.
Couldn't recommend enough!

Visited Junk Soul last week but I was so full I couldn’t try the burgers. They looked amazing! I had the fried chicken and the onion rings and they were really good.

Richtig cool in einem Outdoor Foodcourt der jedoch auch überdacht ist. Sehr leckere Burger und loadet Fries. Man kann am Tisch online bestellen und bekommt es zum Tisch gebracht. Der Court ist super sauber und es gibt eine Spieleecke für Kinder sowie saubere Toiletten.

We love visiting the Spark complex when we are in York for the selection of freedom of ordering. Junk did not disappoint and was probably the best burger we've ever had!

Just felt the menu was a lil on the expensive side for what it was. (Eg plain chips £4) maybe I’m out of touch , I know the price of food has gone up a fair bit. 2 burgers, 1 fries and 2 drinks cost £36 tip. For the casual setting and disposable plates etc it seemed pricy.

Located in Spark, the vibes are really cool and you sit among many different stalls. But Junk Soul has to be the best, not just because it's fully vegan but because the options are fun and delicious.
Read moreWhen I went with my sister, we tried the Smash Burger and the Kimchi Tofu Burger. I am a sucker for a classic so was immediately drawn to the smash burger. The bun was nice and soft, it was saucy, had plenty of pickles, and the shredded lettuce was nice and crunchy. The Kimchi burger was a fun option with a good crunch, great flavour, and sizeable slab of tofu. We also shared the maple and BBQ sesame fries. There wasn't much smokiness from the BBQ but they were deliciously sticky and sweet.
Unfortunately they had sold out of the churros, but I'm sure I'll be back again!

Hankering after a traditional roast with Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy but you're vegan? Visit Junk Soul on a Sunday and you will NOT be disappointed - we paid extra for more puddings! They use Juicy Marbles as the centrepiece and provide a generous portion of roasties and 2 other veg.
Read moreAt other times, there are lots of burger based options and everyone I know has their favourite dish: mine is the Vegan Vampire: juicy marbled 'steak' with gherkins, rocket, garlic mayo and a charcoal bun which is the tastiest treat in York. None of us has ever been disappointed by what we've chosen. And they do delicious sides (incl maple bacon!) - this place is run by people who enjoy what they do and they do it really well.

What can I say, burgers and fries were good! My burger buns were pink, very cute AND this is the first time (I think) where pineapple was part of the burger experience. Yes, it was juicy and tasty.

Oh, my, the burgers from this place are glorious! I had the smash burger with some fries and onion rings and it was utterly delicious. Fast and friendly service in a warehouse/food court setting. A hard recommend.

Visiting York we had a need for some vegan junk food. I have to say this rates as one of the best we’ve ever had! We both had the Vegan Vampire (garlic soaked & grilled vegan steak pieces, gherkins, rocket and garlic mayo, dusted with chives and served in a toasted charcoal bun) and a side of fries.
