Deserves a Michelin star - Edit
The chef received us himself and explained the menu, including creative dishes. He learned from important vegan mentors in Puerto Rico and took flavors and presentation to the next level. It shows the presentation and care of dishes is from European cuisine. He has explored flavors from Puerto Rican cuisine from all over. He takes his passion to heart. Nice environment. Prices are higher than other places but they serve abundant food, so prices are fair. Highly recommended!

El Punto Vegano 💚 - Edit
Very impressive vegan food, especially the pinchos!!! The hash brown dish was a pleasant surprise, we didn’t expect much, but it was bursting with so much delicious flavor! The vegan mofongo was also very tasty. We took a pistachio baklava to go and we were not disappointed at all. Great food overall.

Read moreThe staff is extremely patient with explaining the variety of dishes on the menu and what they offer as specials of the day. This time around, I opted for a more traditional dish which was the mofongo with abondigas and the yautia with shrimp. Both were extremely rich in flavor and delicious.
The wait time for the food did take a while but that was not a problem considering how much detail and flavor went into each ingredient in each dish. The prices are a bit on the higher side but you are certainly getting what you pay for. Pay this place a visit!!

A bit overrated and expensive - Edit
All the 5 star reviews may have really increased our hopes. Not bad food but with amazing options in San Juan for vegans this was a little overrated.

Majority of Sandwiches offerings are already prepared processed vegan meats such as Beyond and other soy based offerings. Admittedly we didn’t order any pizzas which may be exceptional. Prices were really high but quantities were good.

The food here was some of the most thoughtfully prepared we have had in a long while. We got the mofongo, gnocchi and a pizza for the kiddo. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. We grabbed some desserts to go. The guava cake melted in my mouth.

I went in May 2023. The food was absolutely delicious. The area is a bit sketch looking upon arriving, but once inside, the food is good! There is limited seating area for dine in.

I ordered the veggie tacos and they were fresh and flavorful! I wasn’t too hungry but if I was this portion may have been on the smaller side for me, which is worth noting. When I went they had four types of vegan cake and two types of cheesecakes and I wish I got a picture of them! I left with a slice of guava cheesecake and it was unbelievably delicious, so much so that I regretted not trying the other cake options (the lemon in particular looked amazing).

Excellent food and customer service. Had a lentil soup to start that was warm and soothing. Had the papas supreme (loaded French fries) and the Quesadilla with vegan chicken in it. Both were great.

Had the papa's supreme which was very tasty - a bit greasey though. We didn't know it had a cilantro sauce though, even though we specified no cilantro (think a bit of a language barrier which I'm not upset at all about). Just warning anyone who doesn't like cilantro that many of their dishes use this sauce.
Ordered a pasta dish, not really sure what it was called. Also a bit oily but decent for sure.
Tried the bean burger, which was not very good. The patty was very dry and overcooked. Would get a beyond patty over a homemade one next time.

This was I think our favorite vegan place in Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷 We ordered a gyro (very good, "meat" was chewy) and had the Greek flavor which tasted great. We also got the special Mofongo and it was sooo good! Reminded me of seafood a bit but it was made using soy crunch as the meat. Our server apologized for a long wait and even gave us some soup with pita on the house. That was really good, I believe it was a squash or pumpkin soup. Must visit !

This meal brought my husband back to his childhood-clove infused ham with pineapple over creamy mashers. I had the gyro, which was enormous. 2 people can easily share it and have dessert. Both dishes were excellent. We’ll definitely come back to try the pizza, which is the big draw here.

Delicious food in an intimate cafe - Edit
Food prepared fresh and healthier than other vegan places. Even french fries were baked rather than fried. I had the mushroom taco special. Pumpkin soup was nice. Gyro was really excellent. Supreme fries include meat crumbles and was good too. Raw desserts were just ok. Our young waitress seemed a little new at her job but did it very well.
