El Médano kann auch vegan

Tolle Karte, übersichtlich und trotzdem genug Auswahl. Keine Standardküche sondern gut überlegte und wundervoll abgestimmte Gerichte. Das Restaurant ist etwas abseits der Promenade aber auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert😄

Wonderful experience

I've been here on two occasions. Although the menu is limited, everything we've tried has been delicious. Staff are very friendly.

It's quite small, I'd recommend booking your table.

Sooo good

The tiramisu has a hint of banana base and it was insanely good. The jackfruit wrap was also very good!

Great wee find

Review from January 2026:
We’ve visited El Med Veg quite a few times over the last few years and our latest visit in January 2026 didn’t disappoint. It’s always great to visit somewhere vegan where you can choose anything at all on the menu. We’re not gluten free but quite a lot of their dishes were marked as suitable.

We ordered the aubergine lasagne and the BIG med burger. Both were really tasty and good sized portions. We then tried the Canarian cream and the apple pie with custard (which was huge) and were glad we had left room for dessert! We finished up with some oat milk cappuccinos which were lovely. The place has a relaxed atmosphere and the service was great. We’ll definitely be back!

We first visited El Med Veg in January 2023 and really enjoyed it but our visit in January 2025 was even better. The menu felt like it had a really good selection of dishes even though it's relatively small. I had the aubergine lasagne which was delicious and very filling. My husband enjoyed the pad thai which came with plenty of tofu. We shared a banana and cashew cheesecake to finish which was really light and tasty. The server was friendly and overall we had a good experience. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Super lecker

Das Essen ist super lecker und vor allem frisch! Es sind gute Preise und gibt verschiedene Optionen. Die Inhaber sind auch sehr nett. Leider etwas abgelegen an einer Straße, aber dafür ruhig.

All I could wish for

I’m so glad I discovered this cozy little gem during my stay in El Médano! I often go there after surfing. The portions are generous, and every dish I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. Seating is limited and it can get busy at times, but they also offer takeaway, and the food is always prepared quickly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Food so good I'll be coming back every day

I had the L'udon (udon noodles in a peanut sauce) and the Turamisu, and I don't know how to explain how delicious it was without swearing. I will be coming back daily until I complete the menu.

Super lecker, super gesund!

Ich hatte eine Suppe zur Vorspeise, eine Bowl als Hauptspeise und zum Nachtisch umwerfend leckeren Tiramisu! Dazu frische, selbstgemachte Getränke, unter anderem einen Cider. Alles erste vegane Sahne!💚

Great burger

Lovely service and tasty food! We both had the med burger and shared the Canarian cream pudding which was all very good. We’d be back if we were staying longer in El Medano! Really lovely atmosphere and fantastic service.

The best food in Tenerife!

We absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing—from the starters to the main dishes to the desserts. Everything was stunning! The owners were great, too. It's a must-visit if you're in the area! We will definitely go back!

Definitely eat here!!! It is awesome.

Unfortunately I had already eaten dinner earlier but I managed a pudding here - Tarta De Verano (summer tart). It was gorgeous. Creamy, flavoursome, and ‘healthy’ ish!

I definitely recommend visiting - and for a full dinner. The main courses looked lovely too.

Staff were very helpful and spoke good English - thankfully for me.

Super

Very good food, we took some takeaway to the airport. We had the noodles and a jack sandwich with potatoes. The staff was really nice. Everything is 100% vegan!

Delicious

I got a takeaway from here en route to the airport and it didn't disappoint. Had the foccacia and noodle dish which were both great. They had dine-in seating available too.

Squisito!

Cena full vegan davvero davvero ottima!! Ottima la possibilità di prendere gli antipasti in formato "mezza porzione", così da dividerli tra commensali. Buonissima la focaccia, le lasagne erano squisite! Lo consiglio davvero vivamente.

Cute vegan restaurant 💚

I liked the restaurant looks really cute.. we ordered the tortilla and wrap, food was good, but They heated up the food in the microwave so it was not hot, the potatoes tasted like from the day before.
But the service was friendly. Portions are small.
