The nachos are good - Edit
I was recently in the area and had to give this place a try. Since we don’t live in the area we decided to try an order of the nachos and a mix of 5 tacos to share. Unfortunately when we got back to where we were staying we found we got two order of nachos. While they were good we were disappointed we didn’t get to try the tacos.

Was suggested by a friend and we were glad that we took the suggestion. The meats were very fresh and delicious. Tried all their vegan meats and all of them were so good. They are a nice small place. Also it was good to see that a vegan place doing so well as they were so busy.

Best burritos, ok tacos - Edit
Burritos are amazing. All the ingredients are fresh with plenty of flavor. The tacos, eh, not great just ok for carne, the pastor was sweet? But the burrito and mulita is so good it’s worth the drive. Elote was ok, I don’t love mayo but if you do you’ll probably like it.

Went here when I was travelling in August and have been dreaming of their tacos since. YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE!! Got the 5 Tacos and got an assortment of different types. The ‘meat’ is so tender and flavourful.

Been vegan for 6 years and can say this was the Best Torta I have ever had! I can say I did miss some Torta a since being Vegan but not any more. This was huge and so tasty. Cannot wait to come back and try other options. You cannot go wrong with all the dishes being served.

this place is incredible. i got the asada quesadilla, nacho fries with al pastor, and two tacos (one asada and one al pastor) and everything was absolutely delicious. if you order online through uber eats and your total is over $20 you can add two tacos for free! this is definitely one of the best vegan mexican places out there

My favorite vegan restaurant and by far the best vegan Mexican food. This is our go to for backyard parties. The non vegans love it too. My favorite is the birria I like to put it in a burrito. So delicious.

This place... is so unfathomably good. It's hard for me to say something like that no matter how good any place is because it raises the expectations so high, but honestly it's amazing. This is the kind of vegan place where you can take even the most skeptical non-veg people without worrying if they think the food is "good, but..." whatever they might say that reminds you that they're not fully on board with vegan cuisine. This place is a GOOD Mexican restaurant that just contends with other Mexican places around it, and it also happens to be vegan. PLEASE check this place out if you are on the fence, it's so worth it!

All about the Super Nachos… - Edit
One of the better vegan Mexican restaurants in the LA area. The Quesa Birria Tacos Dorado were good, but I must say I have had better. The Super Nachos on the other hand were excellent. The restaurant space is decent enough and the service was good. Like most vegan restaurants, there is a bit of a premium, so it’s not the cheapest.

When I don’t go to this restaurant enough, it rattles around in my brain until I get there. Absolutely delicious. On this trip I got tacos. Dealers choice of course . If you’ve never been try the “Asada burrito with extra chipotle mayo” have them cut it in half. These burritos are giant ! only the very best!

I'm glad Vegatinos is now a restaurant. The best burritos and tacos in the valley. Big portions. I recommend The two or three "meat" burrito with al pastor and chicharon or the nacho fries. I wouldn't get the chicharon as a taco because it can be a little dry. Habanero sauce if you want a good kick, otherwise the salsas are great.

How do they make food so good? - Edit
I have been coming to this location since Covid. They handled that well. Only allowing a few people in at a time. The food was the best I’ve had in Los Angeles. I had the nachos and burrito bowl. Both delicious. Last time I was there there were no tables, so we ate in our cars!

Read moreDefinitely my favorite vegan Mexican spot. El cocinero is more of a take the food to go type of place. My absolute favorite has always been the chicken quesadilla. They have really good taco options and the flan is pretty good. Something that I admire about them is that they have managed to stay consistent until heir recipes and portions over the years.
I sometimes get a stomach ache from the food just because how greasy it can be. But hey, it’s worth it from time to time.

I don’t know how they do it! For $9 you get three tacos -and they are double layered with tortillas and loaded up so much you could make them into six! It’s incredible! And they included two kinds of salsa as well! I’m ready for El Cocinero to become a chain that has Chipotle screaming in fear!

I’ve been a supporter of the Vegatinos pop up since their first weekend and every meal since has always been top quality and full of delicious authentic flavors. You can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu, although I highly recommend their Al pastor vegan tacos and burrito. Make sure to try their vegan flan which is super creamy and delicious!
Make note that their pop up location varies so check their website for their calendar and locations.
