Their burritos keep me going ❤️ - Edit
My favorite burrito spot and this is great because one thing I miss the most about giving up meat is chicken and asada burritos which now I can enjoy without the cruelty 💪🏽
Read morePros: They load up their burritos ‘til they are bulging, Their workers move really fast (hustle), They have so many options that are good

I’m in heaven. ❤️ - Edit
I’ve really missed good Mexican food since I became a vegan a few years ago. Read about this place somewhere and since it’s pretty close was super excited to try.
Read moreThere was a big line waiting outside to get in, so that was a good start. Unfortunately they don’t yet have takeout menus or a website and the only menu is above the counter and you can’t see it until you are inside. Do what I did and snap a photo for future use.
Being my first time and with the long line I decided to just order their taco trio. I chose jack fruit, chicharrón and Al Pasteur. The JF one was good, didn’t care much for the AP because of the pineapple. Now I never tasted chicharrón when I was an omnivore and it never really appealed to me seeing those sheets of fried skin..... BUT OMG the chicherrón taco was the best ❤️. Perfectly seasoned crispy crunchy morsels.
Looking forward to try all the other options, but I will always order something with the chicherróns.
I loved the place.
Pros: All vegan, Delicious, Plenty of parking
Cons: No website, No menu to take with you

Mouth-Watering Mexican Food - Edit
Absolutely delicious! I got tacos with all the different proteins and I can say that they are all good! You can’t choose wrong. It tastes like authentic street tacos. The nachos and flan are also excellent. The food is very flavorful across the board. Highly recommended!

WOW - Edit
*SWOON* I'm in love! This place is soooo good! This was my first time so I just ordered 5 tacos with 5 different proteins so I could find my favorite. I'm not sure I can choose just one. The proteins are all seasoned so well- you can't go wrong with any choice! I also had the flan, which was a great way to end the night.

Traditional street tacos in bricks and sticks - Edit
A line out the door. Pop up turns brick and mortar. Traditional street tacos made vegan hot and oily just like ordering off the street. Plenty to choose from. Opens at 1pm. Don't come for lunch.

New Champion - Edit
This new San Fernando Valley spot could be the LA county vegan Mexican food champ. No watered down gringo stuff here. We are talking authentic south of the border cuisine. Generous portions, spicy, fresh and wallet friendly. Tacos were beyond tasty and legit enough to win over even the most skeptical veggie phobic carnivore. Muy delicioso!

Chicharron Tacos! - Edit
So tasty. I had three tacos, rice and beans, and some flan. Everything was awesome. Rice could use more flavor but was still tasty. Tacos were amazing. Service was also crazy fast - I probably got my food within 5min of ordering!

Great food - Edit
The food is great and fresh! The burrito's are full of food and will fill you up, you may only be able to eat about 75% of it. The pico de gallo is so fresh it will kick start and/or make your day and they have 5 different flavors/styles of meat substitutes. The Al pastor and chickin were my favorite so far. With this place you won't be disappointed

This pop up has delicious food!! I always get the carne burrito and it’s amazing every time. The fries are amazing with the jackfruit meat so I suggest getting that too!! The flan is creamy and flavorful. And the horchata is sweet and tasty.

Worth the wait - Edit
I’m not normally willing to stand in long lines for food, but this was worth it. I got the carnitas tacos and they were SO GOOD. Perfectly marinated jackfruit on fresh corn tortillas, with all the fixings. Even my meat-eating Mexican friends were blown away. The aguas frescas were also amazing.

I am honestly amazed at how good they cqpture the latino flavor into a vegan food. Obviously theyre not going to be perfect but the closeness they achieve is so amazing with the textures and flavor, if you have not gone or are considering going please stop by it is worth your time entirely. The different options they have are amazing and each option doesnt dissapoint.

1 taco, 2 taco, 3 taco... more! - Edit
I had my first Vegatino’s tacos at the vegan street food fair and fell in love with the al pastor and papas locas. My next mission is to try the flan but it’s so popular its usually sold out by the time i get there. The line can get a little long, but don’t be intimidated by it! They are quick at getting food out and its worth it! They are super friendly and have amazing food! So many other things left to try. Love it!

I love this place! I wish it was there all the time. I go every weekend when they pop up and I mostly always go with the chikin burrito but nothing is disappointing. Fantastic food, reasonable prices, friendly team.
Read moreSaw a post on Instagram about Vegatinos and grabbed a few friends and we went on a Saturday evening. The pop-up is in a small strip parking lot.
The food is absolutely terrific.
There were small groups of families and friends dining and most seem to have brought their own containers to take advantage of the 10% discount to encourage zero waste.
I love this concept so much and will continue to support them.
Pros: Fantastic Mexican food, Aiming for zero waste, Reasonable prices
Cons: Only in mid-valley Friday and Saturday evenings

Good and zero waste friendly - Edit
They’re often located in Panorama City (SE corner of Woodman and Saticoy) but will also appear at vegan festivals and as a food truck/Pop-up with other vegan establishments. Good vegan Mexican food. They have a solid torta and the real draw is their vegan flan, which I have yet to try. Definitely worth visiting. Follow @vegatinos on IG to figure out where they are, since food trucks/pop-ups can be hard to find.
