Great Service! - Edit
I'm currently living in the east side of Turkey, and use this place from time to time. It has great diversity of vegan products and I love the boxing of my order.
Pros: Diversity of Products
Cons: Maybe More Desserts

Please support! - Edit
I own also a vegan shop in Schaffhausen/Switzerland and was impressed about that cute and fine shop Istanbul can be proud of. Although the sortiment of vegan products is not complete (yet) it offers well picked specialities. The owner is VERY friendly and also lives what he is selling. So it fits! Not just bla bla. I will be back soon in Istanbul and will definitely come by again. Good luck Vegan Dukkan, Christof
Pros: Philosophy, Idealism, Love
Cons: May be one or two raw bars more. ;)

Everything You Could Find in Istanbul - Edit
With regards to cruelty-free, vegan products is stocked here. It is a small shop, with a grand mission and I commend Tarkan for his dedication and hard work into making this shop a reality. If you want something that is not sold here...he's probably researched it and is either working on bringing it or trying to source it locally. He's a pioneer and hero of the plant-based scene here in istanbul, we'd be lost without him!

Small and expensive - Edit
Even if it might be difficult to import vegan products i found this shop quite expensive ! The owner is super nice and i really support him but i hope he can become popular and then become cheaper !
For example a bottle of Desert Essence shampoo was 32 TL (12 euros) !
Pros: Friendly staff, Lots of household products, Lots of vegan cosmetics
Cons: Not that many food items, Expensive

Small Vegan Shop - Edit
I concur with the previous post. It is a very cute and small shop. This is a great store for someone living in Istanbul or on a long term stay. They have mainly household products, toiletries, and some food items. Unfortunately, not a lot of prepared or grab and go foods. I did find a chocolate pudding that I decided to try and it was really quite good. I also got some juice.

Small, but really cool. - Edit
This place is quite small, but they have a lot of great things : mainly household products, toiletries, personal items, etc. They do have a limited selection of food items, but we were on our way to the airport and just looking for a snack to take with us. Unfortunately, they don't have any single-serving snacks, so we couldn't really buy anything but juice.
I'd definitely go here, if I lived in the area or was staying long enough to need laundry supplies or dish soap that's vegan, etc.
Pros: All vegan

My favorite organic & vegan health food store - Edit
I just want to give a shout out to my favorite organic and vegan health food store in Istanbul - Ecolife. I was there yesterday and it's such a wonderful store. Tarkan speaks fluent English and is vegan! He is such a wonderful resource for vegans/vegetarians living in Istanbul. His shop is located in Cihangir, close to Taksim and is a block away from the German Hospital. He carries many organic and vegan products such as spirulina, quinoa (white, red and black!), dried seaweed, several types of organic tofu (soft and hard), vegan manti, miso paste, soy milk, coconut oil, fresh bread and an assortment of snacks, organic beauty and health products and other treats that are quite hard to find in Istanbul. His prices are comparable to all the other organic health food stores that I've seen in Istanbul. Unfortunately it is so expensive to import these products into Turkey, as we know! Tarkan has the most wonderful energy. I absolutely love visiting his store, speaking with him and supporting his business. If you have any questions about where to find something vegan and organic and if he doesn't carry it, I'm sure he can point you in the right direction. ♥ http://vegandukkan.com/
Pros: Vegan owner, Wonderful variety of organic products, The owner is wonderful!
Cons: small but cozy store

Small but nice! - Edit
Love this small shop! Many vegan products, even vegan schnitzel and meatballs. You can also find other organic spices and ingredients, something you cannot find that easy in regular super markets.
Pros: Vegan, Cats!

Great little store for stocking up - Edit
Tiny store, but packed high, this place has THE range of vegan products in Istanbul. Not hard to find when you know which direction to come from (hint: come from Taksim, not from Kabatas, and avoid the hills), you can stock up here on a small range of mock products, cosmetics and hair care, various other ingredients and soy milks, which isn't that easy to find around Istanbul. The owner is great, helpful and really enthusiastic.
Pros: Great staff, Vegan peace-of-mind, As much range as can be fit in the store
Cons: Tiny space, Limited range because of space

Vegan meatballs, schnitzel and even doner kebab - Edit
Meat analogue products are just introduced in Turkey but they are still sold in a few places. This is one of them. The brand for those products is Veggy. As the owner turned to be vegan couple years ago, he started to stock more and more vegan and vegetarian products that can hardly be found anywhere else.
Pros: Wide range of vegan food, Friendly owner, Fresh, chilled things
Cons: Small, Hard to find

guraytezcan 31 Oct 2012 - I just found that Ecolife Cihangir has been the first full vegan store. It does not sell any animal product at all. It will soon provide some vegan cheese alternatives too!

All you need - Edit
The place is a bit hard to find, if you're not familiar with the street names and system in Istanbul, but it's definitely worth the effort. If you're staying at a hotel, you will find here all basics to add to your breakfast - delicious spreads, tofu, etc. Try the local eggplant spread, or the sweet hazelnut - grape spread. Georgous!!
Pros: Friendly English speaking staff, Delicious local food, Small, but all basics available
Cons: A bit hard too find

Limited selection - Edit
This tiny store is best for people who are planning to cook their own food, as it mostly sells grocery staples, including soy milk (as well as health products). Very little in the way of prepared foods or snacks.
