excellent customer service and tasty food - Edit

On Saturday afternoon we struggled to find parking as it was free but after 5 mins going around somebody left his place about 2 min walk from the restaurant. The restaurant was pretty busy but as we were 3 our table was ready after 3 min of arrival. We tried the salad (starter), quinoa soup & butternut squash soup (soups), fideua & tofu curry (mains), orange cake & apple compote (dessert). We spent €30 with a beer & guaraná cola. We recommend specially the fideua (over the tofu curry which it was a little bland). The service was very good and the plates were coming smoothly. Other restaurants we tried were a lot more expensive and not that good quality.

Pros: Cheapest vegan restaurant in Palma de Mallorca., Very helpful staff.

Cons: Difficult to park around the area.

underrated and excellent - Edit

I eat here all the time for years, the atmosphere is really calm and warm and the staff is very nice. The price is affordable for everyone. You get a four course meal for 8,75 and pay your drinks apart. So about 10 euro in total per person. The food is really nice and tasty, I love to come here. Staff doesn’t speak English but you neither do waiters in England speak Spanish ;) You know the saying when in Rome, act like a Roman.

Pros: tasty food, cheap , nice staff

Regular service - Edit

Cons: Poca opción vegana, Platos simples, Camarero borde

Disappointing - Edit

I wish I had read the reviews before arriving here. Totally dissappointed. My companion was not vegan nor vegetarian and I had to tell him "don't think vegan food is always like this". There was a 3 course + dessert menu, with 2 options for each course and 3 for the dessert. 6 out of 9 were vegan and I could try all of them. Non of them were really tasty. 4 out of 6 were blended/liquid: 1 smoothie and a salda for the 1st course, 1 cream soup and one could soup for the 2nd, and for the 3rd we order basmati rice with curried vegetables (the other option was grilled vegetables). I cook better at home. The salad was made of mixed greens, beetroot, a few sprouts and a few drops of vinagrette. That was all. My gazpacho was super sour. The smoothies totally bland. They didn't even look appetising as they were totally plain, no garnish at all, not a few herbs, not a few seeds, just a liquid in a bowl. The rice+vegetables was not bad, but it was the kind of dish that someone would cook for you when they haven't done a vegan dish in their life. The desserts looked also plain, served in a glass with no garnish. Mine was kind of a chia-pear pudding (blended, again) and my partner's a kefir so high in acid that he couldn't eat it.

Pros: Staff was nice, Location , Vegan & Eco Friendly

Cons: Boring and bald food

needs to shape up - Edit

The staff was friendly, the environment was ok but I am sad to say that the food was actually terrible. Some of the dishes tasted really bad, they didn't use fresh fruits and did not have gluten free bread. Out of 4 dishes all of them was pretty bad.

Pros: friendly staff, nice set up with 4 dishes for 12 e

Cons: bad tasting food

Not 100% Ecological - Edit

I have been to this restaurant several times and do not think the food is that great. They are a vegetarian restaurant and say that they are not vegan - so they may not be able to offer vegan dishes.

I always believed the restaurant was an Ecological restaurant but I just recently learned from a tourist that called our vegan guide service that not all the dishes are ecologic.

I contacted the owner and he confirmed - that not all dishes are 100% ecologic.

Pros: Low cost

Cons: Not many vegan options, Not all 100% ecologic

Large vegetarian restaurant - Edit

Large vegetarian restaurant serving an affordable 3-course daily special menu both at lunch and dinner. You may find out that there's no vegan option for some of the courses, which was what actually happended to me (all the 3 main dishes had either dairy or eggs). I explained the situation to the waitress and the cook offered a vegan dish off the menu for the same price: a delicious stuffed aubergine.

Pros: inexpensive, nice helpful staff

Cons: may not have vegan options, can't order à la carte

Sehr gutes Essen! - Edit

Really nice - Edit

Traveeling as a lonely vegan have it ups and downs. The food in Palma so far have mostly been a down.

Also my Spanish is rather bad so the language barreir could be an issue but no, there was some communication with no problem. The service was excellent even when we hit the language barriers.

Yes the place have a set-menu, but just say the magic word 'I am vegan' and they will say what is avalible and suggest changes.

They had a table for single people, watching out the window. I guess thats kind of nice but I like to see the people eating in the resturant.

Let's get to the food, I had a sallad as a starter, it was nice, in fact the best part of the meal. Then I had somekind of cold soup whose name was in Spanish and I can't remember, it was tasty at least. Then 'bodegas' which I had no idea what it was, and afterwards I wish I would have had the other course.

There was no vegan desert, but I was offered fruit but was already so full I refused that offer.

Pros: Vegan-friendly, Ambience, Friendly staff

Cons: Location, No vegan desert

Great value for money - Edit

We found it quite hard to get our hands on decent vegetarian food throughout our holiday, so we were very happy to find this nice restaurant. The staff don't speak English but are very helpful and friendly. The 4-course menu (for every course, you could choose between 2 options), was 7,50 € and really tasty.

Pros: tasty food, friendly staff, good value

Cons: it is a little difficult to get there

Very good and vegan friendly - Edit

I went to Eco-vegetaria last week to celebrate my birthday with my parents and siblings. None of us had eaten here before but we all agreed we had made the right choice. We were surprised, though, that there are no "a la carte" options: there is only a set up menu that changes every day and you can choose between two starters, two first courses, two second courses and two desserts.

I am vegan and none of the second courses were vegan, but as soon as I told them they offered me a different dish, which was very kind of them, given that it's not a vegan restaurant.

It was all delicious and I highly recommend it.

Pros: Cheap, vegan friendly, Friendly staff

Cons: Set menu

Local people, local prices - Edit

We loved it here... Locals eating, set menu of 4 courses with 2 options for each course. Had vegan options in each one. #needed google translate!! As the staff didn't speak much English!! They were really helpful though. Food was good.. Simple menu..We had Juice, salad, baked aubergine and was happy with each choice. Atmosphere was buzzing, but relaxed and friendly. Great price. And I love that they are donating to India with each customer. Simple, inexpensive, Very nice :)

Disappointment - Edit

The food was made of mostly cheap basics ingredients, seemingly without any knowledge about real vegetarian cooking,
and they have more organic in their business name than on the dishes, it's only a 20% they use of ecological ingredients.
No place for people with food intolerances.
Wouldn't recomand it.

Pros: Location is centric, Name of the business

Cons: Food, , Staff

Good food, great price - Edit

I found this restaurant from this website and was pleased with my selection. They have a set menu for 10 Euros in the evening and 7.75 Euros at lunch, with 4 courses - chose 1 of 2 appetisers, 1 of 3 soups, 1 of 3 mains and 1 of 2 desserts. Each course was fresh, healthy and tasty. Only shame is that they only open at 8:30 for dinner, which although common in Spain is hard to wait for! I would definitely recommend this place.

Pros: Tasty food, Pleasant staff

Cons: Limited selection, Opens late

Very nice to eat here! My wife and I are both vegetarians who love to eat organic food. The food was delicious and very fresh, the people are also very kind. Inside is also a little shop with products. For less then 10 euro you have a healthy meal consisting of 4 courses.

Pros: Value for money, Quality / taste of food, Organic & vegetarian

Cons: Parking in Palma
