Wonderful new shop in Pawcatuck, CT, very close to Downtown Westerly, RI! They have SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM! To DIE for! The chocolate cupcake I had was so moist and the frosting.....yummmmm!

Dutch’s is known for their sweets but the newly added brunch menu is awesome! I’ve tried the breakfast sandwich, the burger and the soup and all are delicious!!!! So happy to have this plant based bakery and brunch option in my own town!

Such an amazing gem in an area without a ton of options. Everything listed is vegan 👍🏻. I got a coffee, breakfast sandwich, and a cupcake. The coffee and cupcake were amazing. Sandwich was okay but was also not super fresh (I was late to pick up) so i’d try it again. Prices are relatively fair. Can’t wait to try the other items

I’m lucky enough the love about a mile from Dutch’s. I was so excited that there would be a vegan place nearby and Dutch’s is delicious! My favorite is the ice cream, but the cupcakes and cookies are fun, too.

We drove from afar to try out Dutch’s soft serve and it was totally worth it! It’s close to a cute downtown with lots of shops and restaurants, too. Staff are so nice, and everything was vegan, which makes me so happy! Even the cones come in unique, all vegan flavors. Well have to come back to try the cupcakes!

My boyfriend was brewery touring with his friends in the area, so this is an awesome spot after a long day. In driving distance of plenty of winery’s, breweries, restaurants, casinos and more!!
I can’t wait to go back.

Found this gem on Happy Cow - Edit
My husband and I were visiting Rhode Island (near the CT border) last weekend and thought we'd check out Happy Cow to see if there happened to be any vegetarian restaurants nearby and stumbled upon this newly opened vegan cupcake and ice cream restaurant (thanks Happy Cow)! Of course, we had to do our moral duty as vegans and support this new business :)
Read moreAt the time Dutch's had five flavors of cupcakes plus various soft serve options - chocolate and vanilla flavors but available in cups, cones, milkshakes and with a variety of toppings.
This presented several moral dilemmas. Should I really get a milk shake when they have red velvet ice cream cones? How many cup cakes should I order when they all look amazing but we are trying to clear space out of our freezer not add more cupcakes to it?
We managed to struggle through the philosophical quandary and left with a mocha cold brew milkshake and a six pack of cupcakes.
This was a great find and we'll definitely be back next time we are in the area. They rotate cupcake flavors and I think they're like pokemon - gotta try them all.

Vegan Soft Serve! - Edit
I was excited when I found out a vegan bakery was opening (there aren't many in CT...) but then I heard they were offering soft serve ice cream too and I was ecstatic! I finally had a chance to stop by on a Sunday afternoon a week or two after they opened and it was everything I hoped for. There were about 8 cupcake flavors to choose from and I got 4 to go (Triple chocolate, banana pudding, PB & chocolate and birthday cake) as well as a vanilla soft serve in a chocolate cone with sprinkles and cookie crumbs. The cupcakes were great but the ice cream stole the show, so creamy and delicious. I can't wait to go back!
