I’m vegan, he’s not. It’s increasingly difficult to find somewhere that has more than the infamous black bean burger or a hummus plate as the vegan option. We knew we were going to be in Chico around lunch hour and found Drunken Dumplings while scrolling through Happy Cow. Never would have found this charming restaurant otherwise. I had the vegan shroom dumplings and the vegan kim chi bao. Both were excellent.

My partner and I have been eating at Drunken Dumpling since they were serving out of their tiny food truck a few years ago! The owner has always cared about having a variety of options for vegans. We've tried every vegan option on the menu and they are all delicious. My personal favorites are the sexy spicy noodle and the vegan mary bao. The only downside is the restaurant gets busy very quickly so service can be a little slow but it's always worth the wait.

Food was excellent..the bao is crazy flavorful. Great texture. The hot noodles are super tasty. I would suggest trying a little bit of everything . highly recommend mushroom dumplings as well. Staff was attentive.

I got bao buns, noodles and dumplings which all were so amazing. The sauces on the boa buns are so delicious. I would highly recommend. Plus the place had good vibes.
