Gorgeous food! - Edit
Fantastic vegan food. It was so difficult trying to decide what to have because the menu all looked so amazing. In the end I chose the Chik'n Parm Kebab with garlic fries and 'pickle mayo'. I loved the food and will definitely go back again.

There is litterally no vegan chicken like this anywhere on earth! 🤯 I had the chick’n parm and it was so good I ordered the chicken on its own with Philly cheese sauce and the pickle Mayo! 🤯🤯🤯🤯

Honestly my favourite vegan junk food place. Several branches throughout the north. The fried chicken style strips are amazing I love every flavour I’ve tried and the tater tots are so good!

We popped in here without reservations, but the waiter was very accommodating and allowed us to dine in but we needed to be done in 45 mins or so, which was absolutely fine. The food was good, atmosphere was chilled out and we enjoyed our meal. Large portions with good flavour, not necessarily my first choice of cuisine but would recommend trying it.

We love a visit to Doner Summer because the food is immense! The chicken substitute they use is one of the best I’ve ever had - forgive me, I can’t remember what they call it. Just wish it had a big outdoor area like the York one has. Cook vide inside though and the staff are super friendly.

The waiting staff member was absolutely lovely, very patient and helpful with recommendations. Had the fried chicken combo and couldn't finish it all, had to take some away. Good value for money as the portion was so big. Still managed to have room for the desert pot though!! You even get vegan sweets with your bill!

Amazing restaurant, specialise in chicken shop style vegan chicken, but have lots of other items, such as kebabs, tellers, and more.

Staff are all extremely friendly, we come here almost every other week, and every experience has been great.
I have the buffalo sauce spicy coated chicken combo platter and somehow it gets nicer everytime I eat it.

I love Doner summer! Me and my partner have visited every single one of their restaurants and all have been equally as good! I think we’ve actually worked our way through their menu too! Hands down the best vegan chicken I’ve ever tasted!

Staff were super knowledgeable and friendly despite it being really busy when we visited, food was brilliant, great portion sizes and reasonable prices. Restaurant itself felt abit small but we went on a bank holiday weekend so it was absolutely packed. 10/10 will be visiting again 💚

No More Tears, get yourself down to the Kelham Arcade State of Independence and enjoy some Hot Stuff. The spicy fried chick'n platters are bonza, and the specials are worth a try as well. You can sometimes get Hendos gravy. The staff are great and our server - She Works Hard for the Money. This Time I Know it's the Real Thing.

We went here with some friends and I have to say the service was great. The food was good too but I wouldn't say it was amazing (although those I went with used that word), but I'm not big on fast food generally. They have quite a good selection of dishes but unfortunately don't offer dessert. I'm pretty sure we'll be back.

Delicious kebabs - Edit
Really, truly delicious kebabs. They’re a good size and the majority of the meal is lovely crisp veg which makes it very filling but doesn’t leave you overly full. The garlic chick’n seitan is really good and the bread is excellent. Haven’t tried anything other than the kebabs but will definitely be back again!

We are big fans of this place. We have been to few of their restaurants and we are very happy that finally we have our own Doner summer. The food is amazing , the customer experience on high level too. Few suggestions : to be able to replace / upgrade for potato tota instead of fries would be great . May be some desserts as well would suit the menu well. Thank you Ted for the warm welcome and being such a great area manager.
