Tasty Sweet Treats - Edit
Today was my first visit to Doe, I enjoyed my milkshake and I look forward to trying the donuts I got as well. They have lots of options from donuts, ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes, and more! The only thing keeping this from a 5-star is the hard time we had parking and the wait. But I don’t have any ill feelings regarding the wait- it was a Saturday evening with only one staff member and lots of hungry customers😄

Perfect yeast doughnuts - light, crisp and flavours balanced so well. We bought a stout and pretzel and a jam stuffed. Both were amazing. No photos because they were too delicious 😪

My Favorite Doughnut Ever 🍩 - Edit
The Portland Fog is my all time favorite doughnut ever. If you like London Fogs you’re in for a treat. I almost cried when I ate it. It is even better than the strawberry lab donut I had in L.A. I will go get a box next time I am in town. I had to stop by twice and I was only there three days and not anywhere nearby. They also do very fun experimental savory doughnuts which I think are worth a shot.

Cons: No covered seating if it is raining, No indoor seating, AT&T did not have a good signal in that area

Expected better - Edit
With all the social media hype I was so excited to try these donuts. We got the old fashioned chocolate strawberry, chocolate ring with sprinkles and the earl gray (I think that’s whats it called).we finished the earl gray as it was less sweet and the cream on it gave it a good balance but I was expecting much more flavor based on other reviews. The chocolate ring was good and the old fashion was inedible for me due to the extreme density.

Clearly made with love - Edit
There are few things that I love more than a springy and chewy vegan donut. Doe Donuts has this. On top of a perfect donut dough, they have a variety of delicious flavors. I especially liked the “Doe!” and “Salted Vanilla Bean” flavors.

Cons: Salted vanilla bean had a little too much salt

Excellent donuts - Edit
We had the Portland Fog (amazing! definitely get this) and a coffee-dipped old fashioned that was a special. Both were very good, but especially the Portland Fog. We enjoyed sitting at the shady outdoor picnic table area with our dog. They only have drip coffee, and it wasn't great, probably mainly because the plant-based milk we added separated/curdled. I know there are lots of plant-based milks that don't do that, but this one did. Also, we walked a long way to get there and were disappointed that they didn't have a restroom for customers, but I understand that the place is pretty tiny inside, and there is a Whole Foods nearby with restrooms. We will definitely be back for more donut flavors, plus we can't wait to try their ice creams and soft serve. The minor issues with the milk and restroom were not a big deal at all. We loved the donuts and will return! UPDATE: We have since tried the breakfast sandwich, the sweet corn fritter, the passionfruit hibiscus, and the raspberry pistachio. All incredibly delicious, especially the corn fritter! ANOTHER UPDATE: Have since tried MANY more flavors, and they continue to surprise and delight. Love them!

Way better than voodoo donuts!! They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from. I got 13 and so far they are all good! My favorite is the guava with cream cheese filling. This will be my new go to donut spot when I'm in Portland! Their fog milk drink is also really good!

Donuts amazing...staff... - Edit
I would definitely give this place 5 stars for the donuts.
Read moreI had the DOE! donut and the one that had brownie bits on it. OMG. The best ever. I haven't tried the vegan ones from Voodoo yet, so I can't compare, but these are legit donuts. I would NEVER know they are vegan. Granted I have been vegan since 2012, so it has been a hot minute since I have had a Tim Hortons donut, but they seriously taste just like the ones from there. Donuts through and through, only vegan!
Customer Service was seriously lacking, but maybe she had had a busy day. No really greeting, no smile...nothing of the sort.
But like I said, donuts were fab!
Pros: The donuts, The quality, The taste and variety
Cons: Staff

Decent but Nothing Spectacular - Edit
Came here on an early Saturday morning and got 4 flavors to go: Portland fog, breakfast Sammy, salted vanilla, and the mango tajin cake donut.
Read moreThe breakfast Sammy was probably our favorite, it’s a plane Non-glazed donut filled with tartar sauce, and a fried Patty, making it taste like a Filet-O-fish. Decadent, maybe a bit too decadent. My next favorite was the Portland fog, which is a Earl Grey glaze donut with with whipped cream. The salted vanilla was nothing special per se. The mango tajin cake donut was our least favorite. It was super dense, dry and salty. If you’re super hungry, it’s your last resort food. Overall I would not be back.

Amazing Vegan Donuts - Edit
I tried the breakfast sammy and a Portland Fog donut, both of which were a perfect balance of flavor. If you like earl grey tea 100% try the Portland fog. I ended up getting another couple donuts to-go to eat the next morning, a maple twist and brown butter and peach. They held up really well after sitting in the car and our hotel room. A must try for breakfast in Portland!

Ice Cream Sandwich Review - Edit
I have not been to their location, or had their donuts, however, my omni donut connoisseur friends have had their donuts and told me they were just “ok” and they would not go back for them again.
Read moreI did, however, pick-up a couple of their ice cream sandwiches at Dirty Lettuce (side note - I 110% recommend Dirty Lettuce). The ice cream sandwiches are delicious!! Especially the Lemon and Earl Grey 🤤 Also the Marionberry ice cream is standout good. I can confidently recommend their ice cream sandwiches, and I’ll be happy to try their donuts in the future!

Sweet and savoury donut heaven - Edit
So glad we made a stop here when visiting Portland. We tried the Portland Fog (supposedly their most popular flavour and for good reason) - tea flavoured with whipped cream on top, the whipped cream was the best I’ve ever had! Also got the breakfast sammy - like a breakfast muffin but in a donut, so good I could’ve eaten multiple…

Get here early for the best donuts - Edit
The donuts here are best when they are freshly made and before they sell out of certain flavors. I made the mistake of going within an hour of close and they were sold out of some of the flavors i wanted to try😡the donuts I did get were pretty good though, I really enjoyed the Ube Cream donut special they had that week. These are the best vegan donuts in portland, check them out!

5⭐️ Skip Voodoo! - Edit
Over our weekend stay in Portland we stopped at Voodoo and here, and Doe beats Voodoo! They have much better flavor options and are so soft. I’ve always wanted to go here but my family chooses Voodoo. Not anymore! We went near closing but they still had enough that we got one of each flavor left. Unfortunately they don’t have restrooms to wash your sticky hands, and only outdoor seating.
