Did I just die and wake up in heaven? - Edit
Cute little donut shop with beautiful donuts!
Read moreGot the Portland Fog which has an enormous amount of whipped cream on top haha, very tasty, but a little much
Also got the Doe (pink frosted with sprinkles) very sweet and filling but I was expecting it to be strawberry flavored
Will definitely go back to try another flavor next time I'm in town!
Pros: All Vegan!!

There is always a queue outside, but it moves fast. Soft, fluffy donuts that taste great.

Beautiful artisan donuts - Edit
Every donut we tried was beautiful and delicious. The yeast donuts were fluffy and a tasty treat. I wish I lived closer to Doe, but on the other hand that could be “dangerous.” Staff was super friendly too!

Very good donuts. Lots of interesting flavors. They even have savory donuts if you’re interested. They have a great selection of year-round and seasonal donuts. They also have coffee and house made ice cream.

Best Donuts I’ve Ever Had - Edit
The Portland Fog was an unexpected surprise, the Earl Grey frosting was not overpoweringly sweet and a nice touch. The maple bacon donut was everything I hoped it would be.

Great donuts & ice cream - Edit
We got a dozen to try lots of flavors and that was fun! We loved Portland Fog, Carrot Cake, Sundae, Rose, and the Doe. The horchata ice cream was also good.😄

Worst donuts I’ve ever had - Edit
I must have gone to a different shop than all these other reviewers because I got three donuts and they were all nasty as hell. The dough is bitter and the texture is pure nothingness. Doe NOT bother.

Okay vegan donuts - Edit
A lot of their donuts were the same base, just with different sugary toppings. The strawberry and rhubarb donut was the really the only highlight of the ones we tried.

I love this place and having been coming here at least once or twice a month since summer 2020. They have exciting and delicious new flavors every month on their rotating menu, as well as great year round choices. They also have vegan soft serve!

Mostly Great! - Edit
I love this place as an alternative to VooDoo Donuts but the quality is inconsistent. I don’t know that I have ever tried a donut that was “omg” delicious. My experience is that they look and sound way better than they taste. Not that they are bad! Just…not as amazing as your brain is expecting.

Gourmet and innovative - Edit
As luck would have it, I arrived on National Donut Day, observed on the first Friday of June. I was so happy to finally experience an all-vegan donut shop. There were so many appealing donuts that it took some time for me to narrow down my choices. There were plenty of customers during the lunch hour. The business requests that you wear a face covering inside.

Not Worth the Dough ($) - Edit
I chose a Cookie Butter Cup, which is a chocolate cake doughnut with cookie butter glaze and chocolate drizzle. The doughnut was very dense and dry. I know many people love this shop, but I've tried lots of their doughnuts and never been impressed; they look much better than they taste.

Doe Donuts is known for their vegan donuts but they also have delicious ice cream sandwiches. Something I love about Doe is that they are continuously reinventing their menu and offerings which means you will never be bored. Most days you will find a savory option as well. I have been going to Doe for awhile now and they never disappoint.

Best donuts ever - Edit
In a town that's been called "city of donuts", Doe reigns supreme. The fact that they're vegan, and my daughter can enjoy them as well, makes them magical. These aren't your run of the mill donuts, nor are they trendy like Voodoo, they are both creative and delicious at the same time.

Can’t say enough good things about Doe! I love their seasonal menus, and the standards are delicious. A little spendy, but these are artisan doughnuts. Loved the sour peach(summer menu), and the blackberry chili (fall). Their strawberry Doe doughnut is classic.

The best vegan donuts in the world - Edit
According to my records, I have been to doe donuts 112 times since they opened in this location. I’ve tried a lot of vegan donuts around the world but does are on another level. They split their donut menu into two menus: one seasonal and one regular. The seasonals usually include one savory donut, one twist, one old fashioned, and at least one „weird“ one. The savories are only good heated up in my experience. Their old fashioned donuts are always my favorite. Of the regular flavors, the Portland Fog donut is god-tier. They also have ice cream with interesting flavors and very sweet ice cream sandwiches- only the ice cream is GF. All vegan. Tips: there‘s no indoor seating but a good amount of outdoor seating that is uncovered and un-heated. The line can get really long- 30 minutes or more on the weekends, even longer on good weather days. The earlier you get there, usually less line. I recommend taking your donut on a walk to the nearby Grant Park. Extra pro tip: the donuts are by one get one free the last half hour they are open!

Cons: Often a queue, No heated or covered seating , Sugar crash after you eat all this

My favorite Vegan place in Portland! - Edit
My partner and I make specific trips to Doe's whenever we can. This all Vegan Donut spot is incredible. The flavor and choices are beyond amazing and every time you go you can try something different! My personal favorite is the lavender cookie dough or their classic London fog. In the fall they have a pumpkin ice cream that I would buy pints of if I could! Please check this incredible place out!
Read moreI also enjoyed strawberry milk and Thai iced tea (both vegan) at various times. Very cool to have options here you wouldn't normally have elsewhere!
Pros: Rotating Monthly specials, "can't tell it's vegan" goodness, Great drink/ Ice cream Choices
Cons: Some options are only available for a short time , No GF options
