Affordable and delish local veg food - Edit
Came to this shop after Yehliu Geopark and enjoyed some local veg food - 卤肉饭, 面线（干），dumplings and chilli oil dumplings

Nice Classic Taiwanese Eatery - Edit
A good place to dine along the main road of Jinshan. I had some nice dumplings and a noodle dish here. They also have some pre-made cold dishes to choose from on display in a glass cabinet. It is cheap and tasty and service is fast and friendly. No English menu but google translate is your friend : )
