great place - Edit
Super cozy and calm atmosphere. food was quick and delicious. NB! The marker from happy cow is completely wrong and around 10km in the wrong direction! if you need to find it go to their Facebook-page and get the directions from there. :-)

Hidden vegetarian gem - Edit
I ate here so many times and loved it every time. I still crave and miss the eggplant crostini and mango lassi. Though I do love local food, this was a pleasant change. The setting is really nice and peaceful so I was able to take my computer, use the fast wifi and get some work done.
Pros: Nice ambiance, Affordable, Clean

A healthy food oasis in Kampot! - Edit
Deva Cafe is part of Banteay Srey women's spa, but the new roadside Cafe is open to everyone. The food is all vegetarian and vegan friendly. I really loved just reading the menu, the tapas are so interesting - like pumpkin roast garlic bisque and eggplant and feta triangles. I had the super delicious raw spaghetti avocado pesto made using zucchini and carrots cut like noodles. The list of fresh juices and smoothies is even longer and more creative than the food menu, and includes local ingredients and superfoods. They range in price from $2-4, which I thought was a good deal considering they come in a tall glass. Bonus marks for presentation too. To top it off, the spa is a social enterprise teaching spa and restaurant skills to young Cambodian women. They prepare and serve the Cafe food and practice their English at the same time. The place is about 2 km from town but definitely worth the short trip.
Pros: Fresh, healthy and tasty food made to order, Spa and yoga can make it an afternoon outing, Supporting young Cambodian women
Cons: You may need a bike or tuk tuk from town

Such a beautiful place in the river! Each time I go I order something different from the menu and it's always so yummy and healthy! My favourite are the Houmous Wrap and the Feta Triangle :P The place has so many things going on, for me it's the best place to pass a relaxing day in Kampot;)
Pros: Beautiful location, Clean, Great staff

This cafe in an all-womens spa serves great, fresh food. It's beautiful location on the river is perfectly fitting.
It is great to sit here with a healty yummy smoothie after the morning yoga class the spa offers, or to come here to have lunch and a swim. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great menu, delicious food - Edit
The feta triangle is amazing and it's so great to find somewhere that sells tzaziki, houmous and baba ganoush in Asia. The smoothies are equally tasty as well; my favourite is the Carrot Cake! The cafe is in a beautiful space as well where you are welcome to stay and hang out next to the river or do yoga on their deck or even treat yourself to a spa treatment. A very blissful place to be.
Pros: Mediterranean food , Fresh ingredients from the garden, Healthy and nutritious
