DSFS will always be one of my favorite spots. Such a great selection of drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. The Buffalo cauliflower wings are a must for me and every so often they add a special flavor.

I loved the vibes and the food! Everything on the menu is vegan and there are quite a few gluten free options as well. Desserts, drinks, merch, and tons of cool things going on in the restaurant during the week. 10/10 would visit again!

the chicken tofu fingers were sooooo good. they were like a mixture of chicken finger/fish stick/corn dog which is a weird vibe maybe but i loved it. definitely would come back to try all the other things on the menu 😝❤️ i will say the TLT sandwich had a bit of a strange sweetness to it which i didn’t love but it wasn’t overpowering

Lots of great options. I had Pad Thai, a grilled cheese sandwich, and coffee. Everything was tremendous. Reasonably priced, and wait staff was attentive.

Read moreNice mix of seating options, we went into the outdoor patio space with space heaters on the ceiling. Menu is QR code, pretty easy to order if you've got Apple Pay set up, but otherwise it's probably annoying to enter your credit card info on your phone's web browser.
Food was savory, flavorful, and had plenty of fresh-tasting ingredients. Will absolutely make this a regular stop whenever I visit the city.
Staff seemed friendly, but you don't interact with folks much since the ordering happens on your phone.

The bahn mi in exile sandwich was so good, along with the yum yum tots and the cauliflower bites. It was my first time there and I'm absolutely going back. So great to have a fully vegan restaurant available in that area.

This was an adorable fully vegan restaurant in Ann Arbor. It was super cute with so many plants everywhere, and had a nice cozy heated patio. The prices were very reasonable, and the food was very good! I had the best cornbread I've ever had here - it was so light and fluffy and delicious.

Though friendly, the service was disjointed and unclear. It was as if no one was running the show. It's always nice to order from an entirely vegan menu. It always seems odd Ann Arbor doesn't have a few more vegan restaurants, so thanks for being out there Detroit Street Filling Station.

EVERYTHING that we ate at this gem of a place was delicious! We arrived hungry after having done a college tour at UMich and we ordered a lot of food! We started with Yum Yum Tots and Buffalo Cauliflower Wings and then for our meals we had the Pad Thai, The World's Greatest Wrap and the Buffalo Wrap. After everyone tasted everything, we decided that The World's Greatest Wrap was the best of everything, and indeed, it was so good that we returned and got one to go as we were on our way out of town. (NOTE: it was not as good as a to-go item, it got a little soggy in the transit.) On top of good food, the service was amazing. Servers were helpful, kind and welcoming. What a great find! I am glad we got to eat there!

Great place for a great meal! Friendly service, great vibe, and tasty food. We had the spinach dip, taco wrap, and buffalo wrap. We were surprised the spinach dip was served cold, but it tasted amazing! The taco wrap was very flavorful and delicious! The buffalo wrap was fine, but it could have used more buffalo flavor. It was good, but I don’t know if I would get it again with so many other things I would like.

Love that it's an all-vegan restaurant. I really enjoy the inclusive nature of this place. Very colorful and cozy ambience. Servers are very nice. I recommend the Iced Lavender London Fog. The desserts are good. Looking forward to revisiting to try the savory dishes.

Amazing all-vegan restaurant -- you would figure there would be many of these in Ann Arbor, but there seems to be a shortage. at any rate, the tater tots are a favorite at our house, along with the talk about it salad. my favorites are the desserts -- they will have 6 to 10 options -- they do sell out of the popular ones though. especially the cake and cupcakes are particularly great. Cookies are great too.

Went here with friends while visiting Ann Arbor. Food and cocktails were delicious, and the outdoor seating area is lovely. I had the banh mi sandwich and my partner had the pad thai, both were great. Our non-vegan friends also love it there. You order and pay by scanning a QR code on the table. I don't have a smartphone but of course everyone else at the table did so it was no problem. Would come back frequently if I lived in the area.

Not only is the food fantastic, but the patio space is gorgeous. This place is everything I would want in a restaurant. Tasty choices, friendly service, beautiful dining spaces, and a welcoming environment. My meat eating husband got the banh mi sandwich (and loved it), I had the delicious taco salad, and my kids declared the wings and the tater tots to be the best in the world. Go here. You will be happy you did!
