A nice, local spot for some great beer and great food! - Edit
This is my first time EVER going to a brewery that also is a bar and has some food. I knew this place would be the perfect spot for me as the beers or rather IPAs are dessert-themed and that has been my shtick since childhood, obsessed with candy and desserts. I never had IPAs before and from friends said how strong it is so I always pushed away from it. But then I thought “if they tasted very sweet, I would be able to handle it better, right?” I’m even picky with beer itself as I only like hard cider, lemonades, and Corona (no. joke.).

They basically gave me a rundown of the menu and answered all my questions. You can also sample as many times as needed. I told them I really love sweet so they recommended me cotton candy, and so I got it as well as the s’mores one. The cotton candy one has the perfect sweet after taste of it which was very satisfying and the s’mores tastes very similar to Corona so it was drinkable for me. Highly recommend cotton candy!
Now to the food: I’m very happy Hapa has a stand-alone spot. Last year in my city they were at a food truck event and I fell in LOVE with their furikake fries. I was always wondering if I would be able to have them again, and dreams do come true. You have to tell them you want to fries to be made vegan however. They use a vegan aioli instead. I also got the cauliflower tacos as I like their cauliflower as well.
This is one of the best spots on the Sound Shore for a Friday and Saturday evening vegans and non-vegans alike. Come here now!
Pros: Great beer selection, Awesome food, Super-friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Small space

Great food & fun/hip atmosphere - Edit
Decadent ales is a fun, hip place to grab drinks and food with friends. Hapa which makes the Hawaiian inspired food has lots of vegan options considering how small the menu is. Not everything that is vegan or can be made vegan is marked on the menu. We got the crunchy Cauliflower tacos, impossible burger, charred Brussels and fries with vegan aoli (ask for them vegan). Everything was totally delicious! In my opinion the prices are a little high considering the portions and that it’s counter service but they’re not outrageous for the atmosphere and flavor. Overall I definitely plan to add this to my rotation of go to hangouts!

Really interesting beers and good food - great vibe! - Edit
Relaxing space to hang out in, table space is limited so be prepared to stand for a bit if you’re there during peak times. Food options on the menu are marked as vegan; however there are other items not marked as vegan that can be made vegan. We had cauliflower tacos, Brussels sprouts, impossible burger and furikake fries! The beer choices were fun- from s’mores ipa, to mango coconut smoothie - I had the Vermont Maple- highly recommend!
