The staff were really helpful and as well as having a separate vegan menu they also knew which rice etc was suitable for vegans and can adapt other dishes. The food was amazing, well worth a visit!

Excellent Indian food for vegetarians and vegans - Edit
Coriander has an awesome selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes and these are clearly labelled on their menu (with a separate section for vegans). My favourites are the dhal dishes an puri dishes but there's loads to choose from. They don't use ghee or MSG in their food. There are two Coriander restaurants in Chorlton now. One is opposite the southern cemetery and one is more central. The one opposite the southern cemetery has a relaxed atmosphere where you don't feel you have to dress up much but it's not near any nice bars or anything. The more central branch has modern decor, is much busier and more suitable for a "night out" as it's near other bars. I think it depends on your mood as to which is best. Coriander is without doubt my favourite Indian restuarant
