Fast Ⓥ food with a Mexican flair - Edit
I love Copper Branch for the fast food / easy grab vibe. It was expensive for what you get mind you, though. Still super fun to have a Mexican-inspired fast food menu for vegans in Yaletown, Vancouver. The tacos are good! I’m from Los Angeles, so don’t think authentic Mexican, but do think fast food Mexican. Like Taco Bell for vegans! But with burgers! Okay it doesn’t make a ton of sense but it’s still fun. There were what we call Fresh Rolls on the menu, which are a favorite of mine. These tasted great but weren’t rolled properly like a Thai fresh roll so they fell completely apart:( Fries we’re not hot and crispy when we got them:( Everything tasted good though - have fun! #Veganuary

Fast food - Edit
I came for breakfast and had the Edison electric smoothie and TBLT bagel.
Read moreIt was very good - had never had a gluten free bagel before and was impressed.
The smoothie had a fancy bamboo straw too!
Service was fast. Bagel was hot - just what I needed on a cold rainy day.
Pros: Lots of seating, Diligent covid protocol- checked Vax pass, Fast and friendly
Cons: No overnight oats were available

Good but not great - Edit
Their online system doesn't seem to work, not all products are available, sometimes I get the wrong things, and last time I ordered extra avocado and it wasn't there. Customer Service doesn't get back to me (eating at home so can't say anything at the venue.). I really want them to do well and some of the things on the menu are great, it's a bit of a shame I've had so many things wrong. I would recommend the nachos, the poutine and the tacos.

Had hopes it would be better - Edit
I've tried other locations in Ontario and wasn't impressed but hoped the Vancouver location would be better and it just wasn't. Poutine had a ridiculous amount of black pepper almost couldn't eat it, tempeh sandwich wasn't very good at all. There's just something with the flavors of what I've tried that don't work for me. I appreciate that everything is vegan and I've had very good smoothies from the other locations.

Good, but not great. Expensive. - Edit
Had a Bacon Maple Tempeh sandwich and Poutine with sweet potato & cremini mushroom sauce. The sandwich was tasty, but oily and about half the size of the picture on their site. The poutine was good for the first few bites but was very gluggy and mushy overall. Decent flavours overall.

Poutine was excellent - Edit
Definitely a fast-food place. I ordered the sweet potato shepherd’s pie. It arrived in 5 minutes looking nothing like the photo. In the picture it appeared to have a hearty lentil base. What I got was 90% sweet potato over a mystery, processed substance.
Read moreMy partner’s burger was good but his poutine was delicious. Turmeric lattes were also very good. Deserts are pre-cut sitting in plastic boxes in the fridge. Perhaps I was just unlucky with what I ordered. I’d recommend getting take-out as sitting inside was kind of grim.
In any case I’m grateful for any Vegan eatery in my neighbourhood and I hope they succeed.
Pros: All vegan, Fast, Variety
Cons: Ambiance and decor

Awesome but expensive - Edit
Finally managed to come here!
Read moreWe had the Cauliflower crust flat breads with bruschetta and pesto. This one was the winner out of the 3 things we had ordered - loved the myriad of ingredients and the flavourful taste, especially the vegan feta, it felt like a healthy pizza. The "chicken" was a bit salty though, overall, we would order this again.
We had the Copper burger deluxe with double patty and cheese. This was by far THE MESSIEST burger we have ever had. The juice of the patty was dripping everywhere, it was literally raining over the table and the small plate that it came in, streams were running down my boyfriend's arms.
The patty had interesting combinations of ingredients but somehow ended up being the worst burger ever due to the textures, flavour and the wetness. I identified some ingredients that felt like it did not belong, one was pine nuts and the other was the kettle chips....they're so out of place.
An unpopular opinion but, I have come to realise that I really dislike beetroot burgers now, they end up dying everything purple, the cheese, the buns etc. The taste isn't there either.
Also, there was no onions on our burger for some reason.
The verdict is that this burger is too complex, simple is best sometimes. The positive is that the patty had a good bite to it and I loved the alfafa sprouts.
My stomach felt a bit uncomfortable after a handful of bites...
The Spicy buffalo wings had a great texture to it, it was tender and succulent, the flavouring on the outside was good and subtle. They weren't spicy at all though, so we had a choice of 4 sauces/ dips, we ordered the wings twice - first we had it with the "hot sauce", it was like a generic hot sauce, however, I tasted a hint of mango in there, we didn't really like this dip. The other dip was the "aioli" (like garlic mayonnaise), this one was the best one out of the two.
The wings were fun to eat but again a bit salty, and, I was a bit let down by the title as I was not expecting the spiciness to be dependent on the dip you choose.
Really enjoyed the pickled beetroots it came with, it was like a palette cleanser.
The food came out quick, like 3 minutes and for what it is, we think that it is 25% more expensive than they should be.
Almost $9 for 3 pieces of wings.
P.s You need a key for the bathroom, the key got stuck in the keyhole for like 2 minutes so be prepared for a fight ladies......
Pros: Great items on the menu, Food came out fast
Cons: Expensive
