Cool spot but not vegan friendly - Edit
I liked the laidback vibe of this place with its eclectic decor, lake views and friendly staff. There were lots of small lizards and birds along the lakeside. Prices were very good too (Flores is generally expensive).
Read moreUnfortunately some of the staff don’t understand veganism. I had the eggplant burger and requested vegan - no cheese or mayo. But it came served on a brioche bun and also had a dubious pinkish sauce that seemed mayo-based. Only after we ate there did I read another review a couple down from this which said you have to specifically ask for regular sandwich bread for the burger 😐
Besides that the burger wasn’t very tasty, it was a a very mushy consistency except for chewy strips of eggplant skin. The chips were good and crispy at least! A shame, I wanted to like this place.

Pros: interesting venue with lots of character, lovely staff, great prices (drinks cheaper than most too)
Cons: despite my best attempts food was not vegan :(

Primero mencionar que el pan de hamburguesa lleva leche y huevos, deben solicitar que ocupen pan de sándwich. El dueño entiende sobre veganismo así que el puede atender las dudas.

No lo más rico, pero you get what you paid for y es más que suficiente (ya que en general en Flores la comida es cara y mala). El dueño es muy simpático y atento. Evité ir al baño después de leer el review anterior.

Super friendly service, but the place was dingy - Edit
Regretted going to this place after visiting the bathroom but by then we had to order. The fruit plate was fine but it came with a bear of bug honey. The breakfast burrito came with a hair. All in all a very bad dining experience but the staff was so kind and helpful.

I found this place advertised in my guide book so stopped to look at the menu. It had several vegan options. I tried the eggplant burger with added guacamole and I super happy with it. Nice crunchy fries too! Service was also good
