We got 4 vegan tacos from this place for the equivalent of £1.90 - and they were DELICIOUS! There are a few stalls around selling cold drinks etc too and you can have a nice view of the lake.

Very cheap & tasty but beware of margarine - Edit
TLDR: vegans need to request “vegano - sin carne, queso ni mantequilla”. Incredibly affordable, pretty tasty, but very messy - grab lots of napkins and a fork.
Read moreUpdating my review for fairness, my (also vegan) partner and I ate there 5 times in total - every day of our stay in Flores. I was put off by kinda rude service one night but we ended up going back a couple more times once we worked out how to order. It’s so cheap it was hard to resist.
When they’re cooking the tortillas on the grill they brush them with a dairy-based margarine - one lady kindly showed me the packaging and it definitely contains milk. The first time we ate there and asked for everything vegan, she still used the marg (before I realised what it was), so some staff aren’t quite across what vegan entails.
Another couple of nights a man served us who I think was the owner, first time he acted annoyed and was resistant when we requested no margarine. Second time we had a better interaction 😅 Other times we were served by two different ladies and had no issue once we knew what to ask for. Wait times can be very long depending on when you go, each of the staff members work at a very different speed.

Simple selection of tacos, burrito, tostadas and tortas that all can be vegan with meat removed (salsas and onions all vegan). Beans tomato and avocado delicious and very across accomodating vegan/ vego.

Authentic food stand with good tacos. Owner knew what vegano means and offered multiple options, I picked the tacos and they were so good! 3 tacos for 15Q (1.8 EUR)

Got vegetarian tacos which were vegan as standard, very simple beans, onions, tomatoes and avocado but cannot complain for the price, service was quick and friendly. Will definitely go back during our time here.

Read moreIt’s a lot of food for a very low price! Not the most delicious thing ever but it’s totally worth it if you wanna grab a quick bite or don’t really feel like going out to a restaurant and spend a lot of money (specially here in Flores!)

Delicious and cheap freshly-made street food on a nice square in Flores. Can make any of the dishes vegan by not adding the cheese and mayo, though a more generous helping of the refried beans for vegans would be welcome.
