I just wish there were more topping options for the vegan/gf waffle. They apparently changed the recipe so that there isn’t the protein powder in it anymore.
The matcha latte I had was one of the best I might have ever had!
I don't usually post negative reviews... However today I have been moved to do so. Had the waffle... It looks to have been made in a panini press. It was thin like a pancake.
The pre-made mix was made with protein powder that likely had stevia in it (which tastes awful)
Waffle tasted like unroasted sesame seeds, Chia seeds and salt. Just bad.
Very bizarre tasting waffles. There is just no need to put protein powder in waffles. I appreciate when places have vegan options, but instead of adding protein and chia seed to make sure us vegans are “getting enough protein” (haha), just make the same waffle recipe and use plant milk instead of buttermilk and egg replacer instead of egg, a much simpler and much much tastier option!
Did you think Portland was the only place to find vegan waffles in Oregon? Think again. Amity doesn't have many vegan options but this place is a great breakfast spot. In addition to waffles with toppings and fillings you can mix and match, they have coffee with a variety of non-dairy milk options. If you have work to get done they also have wifi available. If it's nice outside, there is a cute outdoor seating area in the patio in the back.
