Not much organic produce - Edit
Lots of good vegetarian and vegan options in the store. I was surprised that most of the produce was not organic. We had the tofu sandwiches from the deli, with a vegan Caesar salad, vegan potato salad, and avocado sandwich. The salads were good, but the tofu serving was skimpy. There were small squares of marinated tofu rather than the slabs typical in tofu sandwiches. One pleasant surprise was alfalfa sprouts which are becoming rarer due to food poisoning concerns. All in all, it was a nice place with good options and decent prices for lunch.

The deli is great, and staff rock! They are friendly, & helpful. I also grabbed some items from around the store before ordering lunch. It was great!

If you need to find great groceries and a great store - this place is worth the stop. Beyond having a bunch of vegan items (cheese, spreads, etc) - they also have the BEST vegan morning-glory muffin we've ever had. They're so good that they have a sign saying you can call ahead to reserve some.

Always a vegan soup choice that is made fresh daily. Salads and roasted vegetables in the deli. Nice to have such a great little health food store in town and in a lovely downtown location. I got take out often when I first moved here but after a few months I realized that the deli menu never changes and I stopped getting take out. The soup is a good fall back if I have a cold. The grocery always seems to have what I'm looking for. I love the staff, they know their customers and many by name. A good solid business and a cornerstone of the community, great people.

As the only grocery listed for Mac, and just a couple blocks from my rental, I had to check it out.
Read moreI found the variety expansive (some new options and plenty of common vegan goods), and most prices in line with what I see at home.
I love the seating areas inside and out, a gathering place for locals.
The fresh produce is tasty, with quite the variety of organic offerings.
