Amazing for special occasions - Edit
The food and drinks were absolutely delicious! The restaurant was also really cute! It was however a bit more expensive than what we were used to spending on a dinner but for a special occasion it is definitely worth it!

Unbelievable vegan Italian - Edit
Brought some non-veg friends and they could not stop raving. Truly amazing food! Had such a hard time deciding what to order because it all sounded so so good. We all shared the calamari and a side a broccolini to start. Then squid ink ravioli, sausage and artichoke pizza, and a pasta. Tiramisu for dessert. Could not recommend enough.

Coletta is a well designed, ambient and relaxing space. The food is top notch as well as the drinks. Really loved the lemon ricotta toast, but everything was extremely delicious, and the tiramisu to die for.

Top vegan Italian… - Edit
Probably one of the top vegan Italian restaurants I’ve tried so far. Everything, and I mean everything, was delicious. Ambience and service were excellent. I would definitely come back to try other items on their menu. Favorites were the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Ravioli al’ Uovo.

Love - Edit
I LOVED it. We got the calamari to share. My friend got the chicken parm which was really good. Another friend got the sausage ravioli which was amazing. Another friend got the vodka pasta which I liked but they didn’t so much. We also got the tiramisu which was just okay. However, I got the special steak, which was AMAZING. I hope they add something like that to the menu. I’d love to go back.

Just...WOW - Edit
I went to Coletta a while back and had the gnocci (before the new menu) and the chocolate budino. It was very delicious. I liked the smaller pprtion size and it was satisfying 👌
Read moreWent for the new menu and was blown away by how tasty and fresh everything was! The ravioli al uovo was surreal-- I haven't had eggs in 6 years and the way the vegan "yoegg" was runny and smelled like eggs was wild! The fig and feta salad was a great way to start the meal and was light and delicious.
The wild mushroom truffle pizza was fantastic and the fig Jam and prosciutto pizza was great as well. I have a preference for mushrooms in general 🍄
Tried all the ice cream and all yummy-- the hazelnut was my favorite!
Panna Cotta absolutely divine. Must order.
Biscottis were small and delicious. Great to order with an ice cream. They were more tender than crunchy which I loved.
Pros: Delicious food, Fresh pasta!, Creative dishes

Excellent vegan Italian food - Edit
Absolutely blown away by my experience at Coletta! My non-vegan friends loved it as well - they couldn't even tell the food was fully plant-based. The ambiance feels like an upscale Italian restaurant. They have many pasta and pizza dishes, as well as appetizers, scrumptious desserts, and classy cocktails and wines.
Read moreI got the oyster mushroom "calamari", truffle pizza, and tiramisu. The highlight of the meal was definitely the truffle pizza - they're so generous with the toppings, and the crust was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever had! The "calamari" flavor, texture, and mouthfeel felt convincingly real. The tiramisu was not authentic (more of a fluffy cream with cookie crumble) but delicious nonetheless.
It's not cheap though; prepare to spend about 60$ per person. Service was quite slow, even though it was a Monday night and not particularly busy.
Overall though, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone - vegans, veg-curious, and meat-eaters alike!

It’s ok. - Edit
We were very excited to try this place and left pretty disappointed. Had the tuna carpaccio special, which was great, but everything went downhill from there: the mushroom pizza was made with daiya cheese (or a similarly horrible brand that doesn’t melt) and the crust was oily, while the tiramisu was extremely sweet. We were looking for a competitor to our favorite vegan pizza spot in the East Village but this wasn’t even close.
Read moreWe also had the risotto, which was fine but unremarkable.
Cons: Expensive , Use daiya Cheese

All Vegan, All Good - Edit
Kind of place you could bring carnivores. The "calamari" was crispy with just the right chew (King Mushroom rings) that non-vegans thought it was seafood. Great meatballs, penne alavodka, pasta alaNorma. Want to go back to try more dishes. Highly recommend.

Lovely experience - Edit
Coletta was a great place for a fancy meal before seeing a Broadway show. The restaurant is super nice. I got the Chick'n Linguini Alfredo and it was good. My server offered vegan Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top of my pasta, which I thought was a really nice touch. I would definitely go back to Coletta, but it would not be a regular spot for me if I lived in the city because of the high prices. I definitely recommend it for a special occasion, though!

Expensive for daiya-like pizza - Edit
We were really excited to try Coletta because the pizza looked so good on here. We were so sad to see that even though it’s very expensive (esp with USD to CAD conversion) they used daiya (or another grocery brand that was not good) cheese and the crust was nothing special. If you’re drawn here for the pizza I would recommend going elsewhere. I’ve had much better for much cheaper in Toronto and in other cities.

Fantastic! Some feedback about some dishes. - Edit
The experience at Coletta was amazing. Ihadn’t had the opportunity to dine in a nice, Italian restaurant in a while. There are rarely any vegan finer dining spots, so Coletta was an amazing environment.
Read moreWe order the truffle pizza, the steak, and the tiramisu. The truffle pizza was the BEST. They did not skimp out on the truffle oil at all, and the ricotta was fantastic.
The steak was enticing. With the thought of having something similar and as tasty as steak, we were optimistic. The taste of the sauce and veggies were great, but I would not order this again. It was very rubbery seitan basically, and was disappointing as a “steak”. (I’ve never had a decent vegan “steak” though so this is not this restaurant).
The tiramisu was wayyyy too sweet. The homemade cream would’ve been so much better if we could taste it beyond the sugar.
Service was great, vibe was great, drinks were great. Loved.

Best Garlic Knots EVER!!!! - Edit
Came here for an anniversary with my girlfriend — the food, the atmosphere, and the service were all incredible!
Read moreWe got the Putanesca “Meatballs” and the Crispy “Calamari” for our appetizers, accompanied by a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Those two appetizers absolutely stole the show of the night. For our entree, we shared the Wild Mushroom Truffle Pizza (GF) and the Penne alle Vodka (GF). Both were great, but again, the appetizers remain in first place for me. After dinner, I enjoyed a Raspberry Limonchello cocktail, which was delicious and sweet, with the perfect amount of alcohol.
The restaurant is a smaller space with a bar, but seems to go back very far into different rooms. The lighting and decor are charming and comforting. Our server, Alex, was so incredible and accommodating, and even had the time and kindness to ask about our lives and talk to us, leading into a whole in-depth conversation!
Pros: Attentive service , Variety of options, Cute atmosphere
Cons: A bit on the pricier side

Finally had the chance to dine at Coletta and it far surpassed my vegan expectations! There is an excellent selection of food items to choose from. We ordered family style and tried numerous dishes. A truly new experience - Edit
After close to ten years of being vegan, this is the first time I've been to a vegan restaurant that feels like the places I used to go before going vegan. I love all vegan restaurants - the more independent, the better. But if you want to take a nonvegan to a vegan restaurant and not have them even realize that they're at a vegan restaurant, this is the place to go.
Read moreThe food was a little too heavy for my taste, but something to my taste would probably not satisfy a nonvegan. I would have liked the pizza margherita to have more tomato and less cheese. The bruschetta, gnocchi, and panna cotta were all excellent. The service was friendly and attentive.
I was too excited to take pictures of the food, but I'm including a picture of the coffee service, which I found both cute and elegant.

Good, but not SO good - Edit
I went there on a special occasion, and was quite disappointed in the price-quality ratio. I had the Fig Jam and "Prosciutto" pizza ($24) and a tiramisu ($14).
Read moreThe pizza was good, but I expected more from a 24dollars pizza. The fig jam was more of a barbecue sauce, and it was so strong that it almost made it impossible to taste the cheese. I think the pizza had only one or two figs on it, which was also disappointing as the figs tasted really good when mixed with the cheese. The crust was really good, as was the prosciutto (though it seemed to be a "basic" vegan product that you can find in a supermarket).
The tiramisu was good, maybe a bit too sweet, but its size was perfect. I'll add a pic.
Overall, it was a good meal, but I was expecting more from this classy and expensive restaurant. The overwhelming fig jam turned the pizza into a kinda basic one. I'd like to go back to taste the pasta though, they seemed delicious.
The waiters were super nice. They put a candle on my girlfriend's dessert and sang happy birthday after I had told them it was her birthday.

Worth traveling 200 miles for - Edit
I made a 200-mile trip from out of state for a special group dinner here tonight — and wow! Our passed appetizers included sage sweet potato lollipops with pumpkin seed pesto, and “Parmesan” cookies topped with coconut crème fraiche, guava paste and micro basil. For the main meal, I ordered the fig-and-“feta” salad, Margherita pizza, and strawberry panna cotta; also tried a bite of my table-mate’s “steak.” Each menu item was among the best I’ve ever had, and the service was exceptional too!
