What didn’t I like about Coletta?! Bring someone who isn’t a vegan here and don’t tell them a word— they’d never know. It really is one of our favorite Guy restaurants in NYC. The Tagliatelle al Ragu is SERIOUSLY delicious. “Pepperoni” pizza is great! Even their simple Vodka pasta was fantastic. Their mushroom “calamari” was a HIT!! A and 5 stars!

this was such a great experience everything was delicious! we had fried artichokes, fig and prosciutto pizza, pasta carbonara, and for dessert both tiramisu and Sicilian olive oil cake. every single dish was great! price is on par with similar restaurants in manhattan, vegan or not. definitely worth it! and the wine list is fantastic too.

Delicious & Authentic Vegan Italian Cuisine - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious and authentic vegan Italian. I had a “cheese” charcuterie board, truffle and mushroom pizza and carbonara pasta. Also, I had a strawberry panna cotta and a chocolate lava cake. Half the menu was also gluten-free or could be made gluten-free and everything I ate was gluten free.

Absolutely Amazing - Edit
This food was exquisite! I recently travelled to NYC on vacation, and I haven’t stopped thinking about the Spaghetti Carbonara or the Ricotta toast since leaving. The proportions are perfect, the food is delicious, the decor/lightening is comfortable, and the waitstaff is incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

The white sauce with the fried artichokes was delicious. All but two of the artichokes were juicy and tender. The carbonara was savory and eggy. The tiramisu was fantastic! The whipped cream was a little oily, but the other layers made up for it.

Yummy housemade pasta and pizza - Edit
Exquisite Italian cuisine and great service. The Chick’n Parmigiana was especially good and served with spaghetti for my twirling pleasure. The ravioli was wonderful, tender pillows filled with ricotta cheese. The mushroom truffle pizza is baked perfectly and sweetened with caramelized onions. I’m glad we left enough room for the chocolate lava cake.

This is not the best vegan Italian food I have ever had. However, I would still recommend if if that's what you're craving because there were some great dishes!
Read moreThe stand-out was actually the chicken Caesar salad - the chicken was so delicious! We also really enjoyed the carbonara and the bacony bits in it. The garlic knots were also chewy and flavorful. And the lava cake was pretty good, with some really nice chocolatey cream on top.
The truffle pizza was definitely the most disappointing. I was happy with the amount of truffle/mushrooms on it but the cheese tasted so obviously like vegan cheese, with that weird plastic-y stretch texture. I've had so much better vegan cheese on pizzas.
The meatballs were also not as good as I was hoping - they had a bit of a pea protein taste, like Beyond.
Overall though, a nice experience with some memorable food - but would have expected more given the hype and the price

Loved the atmosphere and the great menu at Coletta. The tartar was a little too realistic for me but my wife loved it. Food was delicious. The pizza was good but the cheese was still slightly off. It is a great place to go and get that vegan Italian with a great vibe. We will be back next time we are in NYC.

A beautiful restaurant! There are so many options and delicious plates to choose from. We've had the Lumache alla Vodka, rosemary pizza, and Campanelle al Tartufo. The Lumache alla Vodka was the best I tried. A delicious but very pricey meal. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night.

We had an amazing dinner at Coletta in Feb. My husband is a card carrying carnivore & said he would return. The cheese plate blew my mind. I wish we lived closer, or were staying longer to try Chef Vaknin’s other restaurants. The cocktails were also excellent!
