Not too bad but not too great - Edit
I had high expectations for this one since the majority of the comments were highly positive but I was a bit disappointed. I tried the fig-prosciutto pizza and the tiramisu. The pizza was good in itself but disappointing considering the price : it’s a small pizza ; I LOVE vegan pizzas because the cheese is always so good and tasty but here it didn’t taste much ; I wish they would put more figs because I only had like 2-3 pieces and I feel like the bbq sauce they put on top hide the salty-sweet combination of the prosciutto and the fig. It wasn’t the best pizza I ate, again considering the price (24$ taxes). The tiramisu was very good, maybe a bit too sweet, but still I liked the combination of the cream and the crunchy lady biscuits.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting Fotografiska. I got the bruschetta with ricotta, figs, and pistachios, the chick'n linguini Alfredo, and the strawberry panna cotta. Everything was delicious and I'd love to go back to try more dishes. I liked that the bruschetta came with a generous helping of arugula salad - nice to have some refreshing greens with a heavy meal!

Soooo impressed. Absolutely delicious and a huge treat to have all these amazing dishes 100% vegan! I went for my birthday with my non-veg friends and we all loved it! We tried quite a few dishes and shared them and every single one was a hit. The dessert blew us away too.

A friend and I saw a play at nearby Repertorio Español and was looking for a late bite. Thankfully Coletta was just around the corner and was open until 11:30pm. Coletta has a trendy vibe but accessible. The staff was super friendly.

2. Sunchoke and “scallop” risotto
3. “Squid” ink ravioli
4. Tiramisu
Coletta does king oyster mushroom well, found in both the calamari and risotto. The sauce in the ravioli could have been thicker proportionate to the size of the pasta.
My friend and I lost track of time and stayed past closing hours. Totally our bad. Coletta didn’t shoo us away; what a class act. Would check this place out again. Takes reservation on Resy.

We had dinner here and ordered a whole bunch of stuff: the portobello carpaccio, the crispy calamari, and the meatballs for apps; the ravioli and the risotto for mains; the tiramisu and the special cannoli tower for dessert. Execution was excellent and everything was delicious. I particularly liked the risotto, which looked simple on the menu but had so much nuanced flavor. Service was casual but friendly and fast. It was a little expensive but worth it. I wish I lived in the city so I could eat through the menu!

It’s a little outside my neighborhood which is bad on one hand bc I’d love to eat here all the time and good on the other bc the price range makes it more of a rarer special meal. Not that it’s not worth it, I’ve been searching for as delicious an Eggplant rigatoni dish as Caffe de la Pace used to make and this is it. Rich tomato taste, eggplant perfectly cooked, great ratios. Wish they made a Fagioli al Fiasco like Col Legno (also gone) used to.
Read moreThe comparisons I make are to omnivorous Italian restaurants because southern Italian food is naturally vegan. There are a fair number of “meat” substitutions which aren’t my favorite thing but I did try the Chik’un Piccata anyway and loved everything except the fact that the chicken was a little too realistic. The piccata was perfect, not too salty, the sides were also perfectly cooked and delicious.
We liked the pizzas, especially the fig rucola one. They’re a fluffier crust, with a bit of the focaccia in them, but perfectly cooked and again exactly right ratios of topping to base.
Even if you’re full don’t leave without having Tiramisu. The “mascarpone” is just sour enough to balance the sugar and the textures are all lovely,
A really excellent dining experience. The garlic knots make my kid so happy!

Might have missed something in the title...anyway, really loved coming here. My friend and I shared the almond ricotta bruschetta and the sweetness of the fig and agave with the "ricotta" was an unexpected highlight.
Read moreWe then got the eggplant lasagna and baked rigatoni bolognese which were a bit heavy but I think perfectly portioned given that heaviness.
My preference went towards the lasagna (which was really more like a rollatini), but both were great. We finished off with the pana cotta which was perfectly light to follow a fairly heavy meal.
Aside from the delicious food, the wait staff and fellow customers were super open about giving honest opinions on the menu items to help us decide from the huge selection.
It's not cheap, but definitely an amazing spot for a nice occasion!

I did only pick up dessert here, since I was really excited to see vegan tiramisu. I ended up getting the almond cake which was great, just the right amount of sweetness and quite nutty though the ice cream was overpoweringly sweet. And it was large, definitely a 2 person serving-size.

My daughter and I celebrated her first official paycheck (she is 18, summer job) and we decided to check Coletta. We absolutely loved our gnocchi and desert, but we did have a better pizza. I also enjoyed few cocktails:). Worth visiting but a little bit on a pricey side.

This place is great. The service is excellent. My husband dropped a knife and a server immediately handed him a new one and took the one that fell away. Also, when we asked for carry out containers, one of the servers held the container while my husband shoveled our leftovers into it.
Read moreThe food is wonderful, though perhaps because the restaurant is new, some dishes could be improved. For example, the king oyster calamari is great but maybe was a little over fried. It could have stood to be more Al dente. The roasted baby artichokes were excellent, as was the seitan Marsala. My husband was a bit disappointed with the eggplant alla Norma. I thought it was very tasty, but he wished there had been more eggplant.
We were too full for dessert but were curious about the tiramisu. Overall a wonderful dinner.
