Vegan curry!

They advertise their "vegetarian" menu infront of the shop already. It clearly states on the veg menu that the curry contains "no animal derived products" in it. There's quite a few different topping options listed.

Be advised that the vegan curry does NOT come in a mild version, since the mild version contains honey (the waiter was nice enough to explain that). The mildest you can have it is "regular" spice level. I'm pretty weak when it comes to spices, and the regular was spicy for me, although nothing too bad. So, even if you ordered the "mild", they'll serve you regular level spice since you ordered from the vegan menu.

We came here twice because we both loved the curry the first time! I really recommend the eggplant and tomato one, the eggplant is so nice and juicy and the tomato adds more umami flavor to the already packed-with-flavor curry.

The portions are pretty big, so if you're kind of small, get the smallest amount of rice (200g), and it's going to be big enough. The amount of curry you get also increases/decreases with the amount of rice you order.

I would give CoCo a 5 star if happycow would let me!

Convenient and tasty.

Tasty Japanese style curry. A few choices of vegan curry. Good value for money. You can buy packets of the curry to take home with you.

Pros: Several vegan options, Cheap, Many locations

Cons: Not amazing, just decent

Nothing special

I’ve been here twice, even I don’t know why, it’s not anything special. I ordered vegetarian, I got meat.

Pros: Fast service , Taste is ok, Good location

Cons: Not lot of options, Taste is not anything special , They brought me wrong food

Great Japanese Curry in a Hurry

It was very straight forward ordering. They had a separate veg menu & they tasted great! Well, I thought so... partner wasn't as impressed. But for $20aud for 2 large meals & 2 drinks, you can't go wrong 😌

Pros: fast, cheap, large & tasty

Cons: lacks variety

Very tasty Japanese curry!

A good possibility to enjoy Japanese "fast-food" curry. They have a good number of vegan options that are very tasty. The prices are really good and the portions are abundant.

Tasty vegan curry

Very cheap and tasty. Easily able to customise and add extra veg, more spice and select less rice. Make sure you order from the veggie menu!

Good fast curry

It was nice to just be able to order off of the vegan menu. The vegan curry (mild) was a little spicy for my spice wimp self, but still good.

Pros: Well labeled, Quick, cheap

Quick and tasty

Make sure you ask for the seperate vegetarian/vegan menu and you won’t be disappointed. Quick and tasty curry in busy traditional environment! Yum!

great vegan curry

Dumb that you can't rate this place 5 stars because it serves meat! Anyway, has vegan curry, make sure you ask for the separate menu. Interior / service is 'fast food style', but we're here for the food right? Tastes great, big portions.

Yummy and convenient

I visited with an omnivore and the location was very convenient after a strenuous afternoon of multi-story shopping in Akihabara. I asked for the vegetarian menu which clearly stated no animal ingredients in English. I tried the curry with eggplant, asparagus and tomato and really enjoyed it, great price too. Accepts credit cards which was nice and friendly service also.

Happy Cow won’t let me give this restaurant a five star rating, but I would if I could! Very friendly and attentive staff, and delicious curry dishes :)
