Vegan coffee shop and bakery near Chatelet-Les Halles station, since 2016. Specialty is cupcakes. Serves coffee and drinks, a selection of lunch dishes including a salad, bowl, sloppy joe burger, avocado toast, grilled cheese, soup, hummus sandwich, and of course, vegan croissants and pastries. Offers breakfast Monday through Saturday. Breakfast is from 9-11am (this location's speciality is pancakes) and lunch is served till 12-3pm. On Sunday there is two brunch sittings at 11:30am and 1:30pm - reservations are recommended. Kitchen closed 11-12 pm. Open Mon-Tue 09:00-19:00, Wed 09:00-16:00, Fri-Sat 09:00-19:00, Sun 10:00-16:00.

Lukewarm iced latte - Edit
I ordered an iced latte and a chocolate peanut butter muffin. The muffin was really great, but the iced latte was not very good. They didn’t use any ice cubes, so the drink was the same temperature as milk from the fridge with a hot shot of coffee - not the best at all, but hey, the muffin was good.

If you happen to be here, on a day where they are serving tiramisu cupcakes... you'll be pretty lucky because they are amazing! If you want a vegan croissant, make sure you get there early enough because by afternoon, there aren't any normally left. Visit here for Sunday brunch as well. We came once and it was a big brunch. Very much worth trying!

Great value as you get a lot for your money. I had avocado on toast which consisted from four slices, very filling. Tried a beetroot ginger latte which was amazing, was the perfect balance of earthy and spicy, perfect for autumn and winter. Also had a lemon and blueberry cupcake which was delightful. Their croissants are €1.80 each, which are delicious, I think they’re the only vegan croissants around the area.

Je donne 5 étoiles même si on est arrivés 11h10 et on nous a refusé du Petit-déjeuner car jusqu'à 11h...et pas du déjeuner non plus car jusqu'à midi... donc il y a une heure de vide culinaire haha mais bon, les gâteaux était tellement bons qu'on a oublié ! Parfaitement sucrés et molleux miam. Le cadre est cosy juste un peu cher mais c'est Paris.

If you want to experience a taste of croissant while in Paris - this place is great for that, except it won't be sweet. A lot of sweets options in general. Usually I'm being very economic, but I think the prices aren't too bad considering all.

Le Coffee Shop Cloud Cakes a ouvert il y a un mois environ (mi septembre 2016) au 6, rue Mandar, paris 2, à 100m de la brasserie 2eme Art !
Derrière une belle facade, et l'enseigne Cloud Cakes, on découvre une salle bien agencée et décorée avec goût dans le style Cloud Cakes.
Un canapé nous invite d'ailleurs à nous y plonger.
Les menus salés et sucrés sont d'une très bonne qualité, on se régale les papilles.
Les croissants et bientot les pains au chocolat sont délicieux.
Les prix sont corrects.
Et c'est un vrai plaisir de passer un bon moment entre amis.
En tout cas, mes enfants ont hâtes d'aller les revoir, ils avaient adorés leur cupcakes lors des Vegan place L214 !
Et le dimanche, un bon brunch vous attends de 11h à 15h !

Read moreIt has about 6-7 small tables. No one bothered to clean the table which was dirty so I had to wipe it all myself. It's all self service. Water is free but it wasn't cold even though we were in the middle of a heat wave.
They have several sweets but very few savoury dishes. We visited at 17:00 and they had nothing to serve apart from desserts because it was "past lunch time" (??). Fortunately there was one forgotten prepackaged salad.
Taste was ok but the oreo-strawberry cake isn't as great as it looks or sounds. Decent though.
Staff was friendly.
Pros: lots of sweets, pure vegan
Cons: bad service, expensive for something so casual/self service

It’s a very cozy place and you can choose between a lot of things. I ate breakfast there twice and it was so good, I got full and I’m very hungry in the morning. The staff was also very friendly and you felt welcomed.

The café has a lovely vibe and friendly staff, however we waited for a very long time to get the food, especially the coffee. It was all very tasty l, and I would like to try everything! Especially the cakes are super varied and all look amazing. I would for sure have to go on a day when I didn’t have to be anywhere else as I ended up staying a lot longer than I expected due to the wait.

We showed up at Cloud Cakes after arriving early in the morning from the US and looking for a vegan coffee shop near us. We were delighted to find Cloud Cales and especially their vegan croissant - we thought we might not be able to enjoy croissants while in Paris because when do you ever see a vegan croissant? But theirs was flaky and delicious. We also enjoyed some fabulous pancakes and a bagel sandwich layered with vegetables. As a bonus this cute little place is located on an atmospheric side street

My daughter and I tried Cloud Cakes after a long day of exploring Paris. We arrived about half an hour before they closed at 7pm but were in no way rushed. We both had a cappuccino and an almond croissant. The coffee was perfect and the pastry was very good- although was not as light as it’s non-vegan namesake. We were happy to find Cloud Cakes and will likely go back again before we leave Paris in a couple of days
