Awful service - Edit
Originally had a very enjoyable coffee and croissant. Returned for a second time , and was excited to try the amazing looking cakes , but sadly after a long wait we were ignored by flustered staff who were clearly struggling to manage with orders. Disappointing!

Nice but slow service - Edit
I had the chocolate speculoos cake but it was kind of bland. Both flavours weren’t really distinctive. The cake was good in texture though.
Read moreService took quite some time too for a simple order.
Wasn’t a bad experience at all but not sure if I’d go back.
Pros: All vegan, Loads of choices

Great for vegan sweet tooths - Edit
Amazing collection for people that love sweet vegan cakes/desserts etc. A little bit too many chocolate options for my taste and service was quite slow.

Amazing sweets and brunch - Edit
What a great little cafe with sweets and brunch in central Paris, down a quieter side street!
Read moreIt was busy but we managed to snag a table for lunch. We had the avocado toast and grilled cheese with coffee and a lemonade. The drinks were great, especially the organic flavoured lemonade, but it was the food that was the star of the show. The grilled cheese was thick with cheese and veggies on amazing bread and it came with a lovely side salad. The avocado toast was so amazing with fresh radish, pomegranate seeds and a balsamic vinaigrette and loads of lovely, ripe avocado - I still think about the avocado toast even now.
After such an amazing lunch we just had to have dessert. We got carrot cake and black forest cake slices. The carrot cake was so moist and well spiced with lovely icing. The black forest cake was a little dry and with not enough icing between the layers.
The meal was very reasonably priced compared to other places in Paris.

The Sweetest Escape - Edit
This is dessert nirvana with the cutest decor inside and out. The eyes are seduced by a trespasser trove of decadent treats. Love the hot chocolate and slice of Black Forest cake. Superb. The music is also pretty great and laidback.

Great that it's vegan, but baked goods just aren't very good - Edit
The appeal of this place is that it's all vegan and in Paris. Beyond that, frankly the baked goods are just not that great. The big draw seems to be the croissants because you get to have your traditional breakfast in Paris... but the croissant was whole wheat (ugh...) and not buttery at all. It has nothing of the flavor or feel of a traditional croissant. I grew up in France (before I was vegan) and found myself looking forward to going back to the Bay Area where I can get a vegan croissant that is actually reminiscent of my childhood.
Read moreWe also tried a lemon cake that was too dry, basically the vegan goods seemed more like what you would get 20 years ago in alternative spaces. On the other hand, I remember the brownie being good and the avocado toast, while pricey, was very tasty. It's also nice that they have a full range of coffees/hot chocolate/etc with only plant milks.

In the clouds. - Edit
In a cute little street in the second district, you will find this vegan friendly café. It has a separated menu (FR/EN) for each meal but their choice in coffee and pastries are always a good idea. Cloud Cakes is easy to find with their obvious blue design but it is not the biggest place and therefore you should not expect to always find a table that easily. However if you manage to grab a seat, in- or outdoor, you will not be disappointed. The quality of the menu is excellent and the friendliness of the staff makes you want to come back to try more and more. Personal favorites? Tiramisu / Red Velvet cupcake.

Nice cake but very busy - Edit
Cakes were tasty and I'm glad we got to come here while in Paris, however we choose to get take out after seeing how busy the cafe was around early afternoon. It was packed and hard to walk through to even order. If I had a chance to come again I would have earlier in the morning or at least be prepared to just get take away so as to not be disappointed.

Nice to have a vegan croissant and other typical French pastry. We were just not impressed by the atmosphere, the food and the staff. They were very busy, but a smile would have been nice.

Melhor café vegano que já visitei até hoje. Fui ao Cloud cakes todos os dias em que estive em Paris. A frase da minha vida é “Saudades, Cloud Cakes”. Muitos bolinhos, doces, capuccinos, sanduíches, croissant, muffin, etc. Tudo incrível!

We ordered cupcakes and croissants here for our small wedding reception. They were amazing and our non vegan friends absolutely loved them. Additionally, the almond croissant is a great treat!

Amazing avocado toast, very small granola bowl - Edit
Cozy place, quite small and popular. Some things quite pricy for what you get. Check the sizes before ordering.
Read moreI enjoyed my avocado bread very much, might have been the best I ever had. The granola bowl on the other hand was very small and nothing special. We had expected more for the price of it, my partner was still hungry afterwards. The chai lattes were tasty, a bit too sugary for my taste, not the best but not the worst we had in Paris. They seemed to have some nice cakes, too.
Pros: Avocado bread was 🔥, Friendly staff
Cons: Small portions, especially the granola bowl

Vegan croissants! - Edit
I haven’t had a croissant in over a year since before going vegan. Naturally my entire time in Paris I wanted to find vegan friendly croissants. Cloud Cakes has beautiful, delicious croissants- and the matcha latte was nice and strong. It’s a tiny place but it’s worth any wait.

Great selection of pastries and cake - Edit
So many amazing sweet things to choose from! I had big troubles deciding what to take. In the end I tried a croissant, chocolate cake and a white chocolate macaron. The macaron was incredible, best one I had! The croissant was also pretty good. Only the chocolate cake wasn't wow, but still yum, only a bit too heavy (but what else should I expect from cream cake haha).
Read moreThe place sadly is very small, so it can be difficult to get a seat. If you find a spot, it'll probably mean you have to squeeze in a bit.

Really handy central location and they open at 9am on weekdays for breakfast. A basket of bread with chocolate spread and jams, a croissant, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee/tea is a great way to start the day.
